Description of Arbitrium

We often have to take decisions. Arbitrium is an app that will help you take the right one in a simple and rational way. Establish the criteria you need to consider and then rate each option you have available. The option with the highest score will be the best one. Arbitrium is based on the weighted decision matrix concept and will help you take decisions such as: Which car should I buy? Which bank should I choose for a mortgage? Where should I go on vacation? Which job offer should I accept? Which nursery should I choose for my child?

Reviews of Arbitrium

  • Exactly what I was looking for…

But please allow users to have their own ranking i.e. 1-5, 1-3

    Not everyone benefits from 1-10
  • Saved me from writing an app

I regularly depend on weighted decision matrices to navigate my life. I started thinking about how an app that does this would look like. Lo and behold, The Lost Project has created one already, and it’s perfect. The only thing I can say is in my own matrices, I use a 1–5 scale instead of 1–9 for evaluating options. I suppose it doesn’t make a huge difference, but it could be a nice feature to add.
  • Really neat app

It helps to structure your thoughts and things to consider to help you weigh pros and cons. Then based on the results you can easily which options are best for you. It’s a much cooler way to write a pros and cons list. It even shows a graph to make seeing it easier.
