This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Thanks for everyone's awesome feedback! Here's what's new in this update: * iPhone X compatibility * Fixed too small font size on iPhone * You can now set a font size as global default - for new entries not only on the current board but on any board. * Fixed help video and description referring to the old edit button (pencil) instead of the new one.

* Fixed: OPML export created invalid OPML when quotation marks were in entries. * Added simple drag & drop functionality: drag text into Mindscope and it will become a new entry! * iOS 11 compatibility

Mindscope 1.52 Added iOS 11 compatibility and fixed a rare crash bug. ----- Mindscope 1.51 A quick bug fix update, plus I've added a contact button so you can email me easily (located at the bottom of the Help section) ----- Mindscope 1.5 After many, MANY hours of work, this is the update you've all been waiting for! Before I get to what all is new, I first want to give a HUGE thank you to...YOU. You all have been incredibly kind and patient and encouraging over this long wait. Your emails and app reviews have been one of the highlights of this whole project for me. So, without further ado, here are the big new things in Mindscope 1.5: --- iPhone & iPad compatible --- That's right, Mindscope now runs on your iPhone as well for when you're on the go! It's really useful for taking notes on the go. Especially because of... --- iCloud sync --- Your Mindscope entries can now be stored in iCloud. If you do so, it will sync between your iPhone and your iPad! If there are any problems, please let me know! I have spent many hours testing and polishing this - it should Just Work. Note that if you don't want to use this, you also have the option to simply work locally (like before). The entries are synced when you have Internet and are primarily updated when you first open up the app. If you've made a change on your other device that you aren't seeing yet, trying exiting and re-entering. --- Bluetooth keyboard fix --- Bluetooth keyboards now work great again with Mindscope! Creating entries used to not work when a Bluetooth keyboard was connected. This has now been fixed, in fact, I've gone even further and added a ton of... --- Keyboard shortcuts --- Many, MANY new keyboard shortcuts makes using Mindscope with a keyboard simply awesome. Hold down the Cmd key on your keyboard to see them all. Everything from navigating to creating to editing to styling can now be done via keyboard. It's AWESOME, if I do say so myself (and I do). --- New action side menu --- Instead of a popup, an action bar now slides in when highlighting entries - this makes life way easier especially on the iPhone, since this way the action buttons won't pop up under your finger, and also there is room for all the actions. --- Massive internal refactoring & rewrite in Swift --- This one you won't see much of on the outside, but I've rewritten many parts of the app in Swift to provide a better foundation for The Future. In Version 1.3.1 - FIXED a crash bug when searching for a link element. HUGE thanks to "Zignfrew" for reporting that bug with a 4-star review. Now THAT is the way to report bugs... :) In Version 1.3 - More cool stuff many of you have been asking for, including my own mom. (Hi Mom!) Read on for the details... ...first, as usual, thank you guys for your kind words in your App Store reviews and emails. They really mean a lot. NEW FEATURE: Undo/Redo This one has been asked for by a lot of you, including my own awesome mom, my most faithful beta tester (Hi again, Mom!). So anyhow: to undo a change you made, just slowly swipe left with two fingers. To redo the change, swipe right with the exact same two fingers - I'd like to recommend your index and middle finger, but actually it would work with any two fingers, and I give you complete freedom to pick which fingers you want to use for the swiping. I'm awesome like that. But I digress... NEW FEATURE: Cross-links (part of UNLOCK EVERYTHING) This one is a bit of a mind bender - you can now create a link from one board in one area of your Mindscope to an entirely different board in a totally different area. To do so, copy the entry you want a link to, navigate to the board you want to link from and paste the entry. You will now be able to choose whether to create a copy of the entry, or a cross-link to the entry. Cross-links are underlined with a dashed line. You can still move entries into them - they will simply move entries into the board the cross-link links to. Make sense? VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS ● Vastly improved performance especially for mindscopes with hundreds of entries (like mine)... ● When you set a grid background for a board, your entries will now align to the grid cell centers. ● A few more help videos explaining various things a bit better ● FIXED a bug where you'd see German for the word Delete (Löschen - which by the way is a way cooler word for delete than 'delete', but I digress) ● FIXED Changing the font size didn't change the size of the selection box COMING SOON The upcoming version after this will also support the iPhone and will include the ability to save/sync your documents to at least iCloud!!! NOTE: I will again be raising the price of Unlocking Everything when the next version is released, so to save money, unlock now - and hey, you know what? Tell all your friends to get Mindscope and unlock it, too - they'll be so grateful, maybe they'll give you better Christmas presents this year. But I digress...

Version 1.2 is a super exciting release because it contains two of the most requested features you all have asked for... read on for more details! But first - as always, thanks so much for your kind words, both in your reviews and your emails. You guys are awesome. Please remember to update your reviews for version 1.2 so they show up under "current version"! NEW FEATURE: SEARCH (INCLUDED WITH "UNLOCK ALL" PURCHASE) That's right, instantaneous search through all your entries! Simply long-press on the board and hit "search" (alternatively, double tap with two fingers if you want to be really cool about it). Tap in a search term, select a result, and BAM - you navigate right there. So cool. (Pro-tip: start using hashtag entries to quickly be able to jump to places you want to remember. Then if you search "#", you'll see all your hashtags in a list.) NEW FEATURE: ADJUSTABLE WIDTH & WORD-WRAPPING When editing, you should notice a new grey knob to the right of the element. Drag this around to set the element's width. The text will automatically wrap based on its width. This is especially cool when copying in longer text from somewhere else. Hitting enter will still create a new element underneath so you can still quickly capture multiple entries. BUG FIXES / IMPROVEMENTS • Copying & pasting multiple entries now actually copies and pastes, uh.. multiple...entries. Instead of just one like it used to. • You can now cancel the exporting if you want to (there didn't use to be a Cancel button). Oops. • Updated the help videos and added three more. • Bunch of bug fixes related to text entry, margins, and stuff. Don't want to bore you with the details. • Fixed the really annoying layout bug in the help videos when swiping through. Coming soonish: Undo, Hyperlinks, Cross-Links, and more!

VERSION 1.1 NEW FEATURES • Save/load .mindscope files - you can now save a board as a .mindscope file and import .mindscope files. Importing a .mindscope file is INCLUDED IN THE FREE VERSION. Saving a board as a .mindscope file is a feature which is unlocked with the Unlock Everything in-app. • Copy/paste - you can now copy an entry by long-pressing it and tapping the "copy" icon, then long-pressing anywhere else and tapping the "paste" icon. This will copy the entry with all its sub-entries. Perfect for setting up a template for re-use! (INCLUDED IN THE FREE VERSION) • Set a font size as the default size for a board by long-pressing the "A" button for the font size you want while changing an entry's size. This will make any new entry you create on this board have this size. (INCLUDED IN THE FREE VERSION) • You'll now see the price of the "Unlock Everything" in-app purchase before you tap the purchase button. Remember, this price is going up! Buy now to save hard cold cash. (Thanks Hugo) BUG FIXES • iOS 8 no longer hangs up on the help dialog. • Fixed the OPML export from always exporting everything - now it will only export the current board and sub-boards. • Fixed the arrows from some times clipping into an entry if the arrow was horizontal. (Thanks Thomas) • Fixed arrows from disappearing when you moved multiple entries with their arrows to a different level. (Thanks Mom) • Fixed an external keyboard issue where it would still not accept text entry if the iOS keyboard had been open first.
