  • Wanted to love this game, but it’s still so buggy

I’ve started the game several times, and each time I get to a point where something should happen (get given bunny ears, pick up a seal for a pipe) and some play-throughs it works, some it doesn’t. So, no ears, no progression, back to start, rinse and repeat. Which is a shame, because it is charming and intriguing, but not so much I’m willing to start over so randomly. I’d happily pay more for an app that works…

  • Meh

Cotton Games makes incredible adventure games! Unfortunately, this is one of their lesser efforts. Boring story, bad humor, shoddy translation, and imbalanced easy/impossible puzzle content. Not HORRIBLE, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Go Play Isoland or The Elevator or Mr. Pumpkin instead, because THEY are worth it!

  • Can’t compare to other Cotton Games quality

This game has the visual appeal of Isoland and other Cotton Games, but other than that, I found I was frustrated and disappointed by the game itself. The “puzzles” often had no logic behind them and I had to rely on a walkthrough to have any idea what to do. The mechanics were also irritating in iPad as you had to move to the exact right spot and path to do anything and he movement would get caught on things. The art combined with mechanics also made it difficult to see where possible doors or paths where (often they were only marked by a floor mat or hidden in the dark edge of the drawing. Lastly, the story was very weak and clearly translated/written by a non-English speaker. I could typically forgive that, but all things combined, I was happy to be done with this game by the end.

  • Pretty but frustrating

    Controls are awful
  • Truly Epic

Got this when it was first released because I love this developer and have everything they have done, Mr Pumpkin 2 probably being my all time favourite to date. Couldn’t really get on with it and lost interest quickly.

Recently I came back to it (This seems to be becoming a pattern for me now) and instantly solved a couple of puzzles and after about half hour found myself outside the apartment which is when it really begins properly, that was when I was hooked.

This is actually quite long and great value for money but simply because it was so awesome I just really didn’t want it to finish….if games of this quality were released daily I honestly wouldn’t go out (which probably isn’t healthy or wise) I would forget to eat and just be buried in my iPad because you totally lose yourself and as soon as you solve 1 puzzle you are dealing with the next one.

Struggled in the factory with the remote controlled car, I lost it under the sink and almost reset and started again but when I went in the room to the right the car was there, waiting for me…..so happy to see that.

If you like the other games from this developer I can’t see why you wouldn’t love this, give it a go and have patience at first because it is very slightly different to others for some reason I can’t quite work out. Truly hope there is a follow up and a Mr Pumpkin 3 around the corner 👏🏻👏🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • Ok game but crazy controls

What’s with the controls? Can someone tell me how to get the cart to move out of the elevator? I just pick up the move symbol
  • Cute kittens, clever puzzles, gorgeous artwork, and ... a boss fight?!

I think the developer misread the room by creating an unsolvable (for me) boss fight at the end of the game. Their public is basically adventure gamers who just want to wander around looking at great artwork, solve puzzles, and who don’t mind playing as a tiny kitten. And up to the endgame, that’s what you get. Then there is a weird crash into another genre of game completely, requiring timing and motor skills and everything that adventure gamers specifically don’t like, as you have to escape a mad shooting mega bot in a jumping robot with odds massively against you. Wut?! I can’t finish this game , and I wanted to. Please give us non-shooters a skip option- or better, don’t include motor reflex stuff at all.

  • Ugh! Arcade

As was pointed out by other reviewers, people who enjoy puzzles often hate arcade sequences. The rabbit room one brought me to a screeching halt. I really enjoyed the isoland series and other Cotton games, but after this one…I don’t know. I sure won’t be quick to buy any more games from this developer without reading a lot of reviews.

  • Everyone complaining about arcade games?

This game is long, challenging, and beautiful.
The puzzles can be tough at times, but nothing unsolvable. It took me about a week to play it a few hours a day...def took some time without hints.

But they all make sense and I thought a good percentage were imaginative.

On a phone, elements can get small, but the world is still fairly easy to navigate even if you need to pilot the character around game elements.

I certainly enjoyed it and time spent playing was well with the few dollars I spent.

  • Frustrating and disappointing

Got fed up with this game after just a few minutes of playing. It’s frustrating trying to move the character, doesn’t flow well and isn’t intuitive. Waste of money!
