Little Light for Destiny User Reviews

This is leagues better than the other more popular 3rd party managers

I have been using DIM or Ishtar for years and they’re great. But man this is way better. This app started off a little rocky but through updates is now amazing. I love the applicability, accessibility, and how easy it is.

The ability to move multiple items across multiple slots at once is awesome and a time saver.

The loadout builder is great and works better than other apps.

The design is super fun and looks great. I love the art by each subclass; it’s a great touch!

I love this app and it’s my main inventory manager!

Looks and Handles like a dream!

This is my all time favorite item manager for destiny. The way this app operates and how aesthetically pleasing it is to use made me break away from other item managers. Only reason to use the companion app is to use LFG. This handles everything else, but does so better.

Easy

I don’t think they could of done a better job at transferring multiple items from one character to another. You won’t realize how much time you’ll save until you try it yourself.

Any plans on adding ability to view our completed activities?

Do you have any plays on adding a feature to be able to view our completed activities (Nightfalls, Crucible Matches, etc.) and their stats, this would completely eliminate the need for any other app whatsoever. At this point, this is the ONLY reason I ever open the companion app, everything else I do through Little Light.

Response from developer

lol android users already have that, I think it will be approved by apple review team today.

Great alternative to destiny companion

Little Light is a really beautiful well made app for managing inventory in Destiny. I also love the quests/pursuits, where it shows you all the steps involved in a quest. It’ll let you make loadouts, has great search. Fab all round.

Your personal Ghost

This is the best item management app for Destiny/Destiny 2 I have ever used (and I thought I used them all!). Quick item transfer has never been easier and that’s just the beginning.

You can quickly and easily view a weapon or item’s stats and modifications, check detailed character progression, quest progress, find duplicates, or even create your own custom loadout for Gambit, Crucible or Strikes.

Please donate or visit his patreon because this app is so well done and full featured it frankly shocks me it’s free.

If you play Destiny/Destiny 2 - you need to check this out.

Only Missing 1 KEY Detail

THIS APP IS PERFECT! After looking for a Destiny 2 app that would have a better interface than the official Destiny 2 app, I went through 7 different apps, some more sketchy than others. At first glance, I seriously thought this one was going to be some sort of sloppily put together weekend project, but as soon as I looked at the interface and the collections tab (sidenote, ... THE COLLECTIONS TAB), I quickly decided that this was the one. The ONLY reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because it’s missing ONE detail that would make this the go-to, PERFECT app for anyone going for 100% completion, or just a collector, is the fact that even though there is a COMPLETE collections tab (all hidden weapons are visible), there are no notes on how to get the weapons. Aka, Izinagi’s Burden, the Mysterious Box Exotic Quest. If these notes were in the collection tab for all of the items, then I would have no doubt that this app would have more users than EVERY other app COMBINED. PLEASE ADD COLLECTORS NOTES!

Response from developer

lol to be honest this is kinda of a put together weekend project (that I did through the span of 3 months i guess) I plan to add that and a lot more, just lack the time, but stick by and you will see that every week or so there's new stuff in the app. I will try to add item sources to to the app in the next release.

Amazing app!

I have tried several other item managers and have always found myself going back to the Destiny app. Since this came out though, I have not switched. Overall great UI and really extensive functionality!

Double tap

Have you thought of adding a double tap feature to quickly equip gear and subclass. Keep up the great work guardian.

Response from developer

maybe... need to check if it won't "conflict" with single tap and do unwanted stuff lol (eg tapping the weapon icon and transferring the item somewhere else right after that because you didn't tap fast enough)

iPad problems

Running iOS 10 and the loadout, triumph, and collection screens are blank. Selecting the "loadout background" option turns my screen black with only battery percentage/time/wifi visible, requiring me to hit the home button and relaunch. Maybe my iPad is too old?

Response from developer

Oh, just made some research on this. It probably is. I need to do a little more testing to find if this is unsolvable, but looks like these screens are taking too long to render on your device, and probably going into a out of memory error.
