Description of femSense fertility

There for you in every situation - femSense helps you to understand your cycle and your fertility. - Planning a pregnancy: femSense reliably shows you when you are ovulating and when your fertile days are. That way, you can easily plan a pregnancy. - Free period calendar: You can also use femSense as a cycle tracker to get to know your own body better. The app always tells you which cycle phase you are in and when your next period is due. Better together: our app and our smart patch. How femSense works - The temperature method is cumbersome & old-fashioned? We don't think so. We've brought it into the 21st century and developed a smart sensor patch that measures your basal body temperature 24/7. The attendant app tells you when you're ovulating and when your fertile days are. - No patch, no problem. You can also use the femSense app as a free cycle tracking app without a patch, and without any annoying ads! In addition to your period, you can also track your symptoms and view recurring patterns in the stats. This way you will get to know your body even better and live in harmony with your cycle. It's that easy: Download the app, register, and select mode: - Want to understand your fertility and cycle better? Then choose "Fertility Awareness". - You want to have a baby? Then choose "Get pregnant". You can buy our patches directly in the app or in our online store. With the combination of the femSense app and the smart patch you can: - In cycle tracker mode, see your fertile phase and learn your daily fertility status (high fertility / low fertility). - In fertility mode, find out your 4 most fertile days and get pregnant in a targeted way. - Find out when (and if) you ovulated. What makes femSense so unique: - Our Hero, the smart patch, has an integrated temperature-sensitive sensor that continuously and all by itself records your body temperature readings at set time intervals, reliably detecting your ovulation. - Short wearing time: You wear the patch on a maximum of 7 days a month - the app tells you when. - Comfortable to wear: our patch is ultra-thin, discreet, skin-friendly (it's gentler on your skin than a conventional sensitive patch!) and medically tested. - NFC technology: you read your patch using low-radiation NFC technology. NFC stands for "Near Field Communication." You already know it from contactless payment and electronic passports. Your data is protected because the short reading distance makes it impossible to access it without permission. - Speaking of data. Privacy is a big concern for us We handle your data carefully and would NEVER sell it to third parties. Learn more about this on the femSense website under "Privacy Policy". Important: - femSense does not replace a consultation with a doctor. The information in the app is recommendations and cannot be used for medical purposes. Always seek medical advice before making medical decisions. - femSense is not (yet) an officially recognized means of contraception. - femSense is a registered trademark of SteadySense GmbH.

  • Didn’t work

The app is horrible, it gives little to no information
The patch was even worse, I had it on for a week and it never detected ovulation. I had an LH rise and then ovulation was confirmed several days after through bbt but somehow the patch never picked it up. When I asked support they said I should have left it on because it probably would have detected it the next day, convenient, however that would have been over 48 hours after I actually ovulated and the egg would be long gone. I’m not really sure how anyone has had success with this, maybe I got a bad patch? But for $40 each I will NOT be trying it again. It also left a horrible rash and a blister. 0/10 recommend

  • Patch application date not flexible

I was extremely optimistic to start and brushed off the bad reviews because I am am willing to try anything at this point in TTC. I track my LH with OPK strips and input the data in the app. The app claimed my window was March 11-14. My LH surge occurred March 11. So it never detected my ovulation because it had me apply the patch too late. I had ovulation confirmed by ultrasound March 11. So had I followed the app advice, I would not have been testing in my window, which is really sad to think might be happening to other users. To put it into perspective I ovulated on CD-14, which is really normal. I hate that the app didn’t adjust the application date and I couldn’t apply sooner and start reading it despite my OPK data. The app is not good, it doesn’t show any data and doesn’t adjust to inputted data. The patch gave me a dermatitis rash that I’m having treated now, and it was extremely uncomfortable. Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend it to anyone and will let all my patients know that it is stress inducing, uncomfortable and inaccurate.

Enjoying the new update. I have been using femSense to track my cycle. The app makes it easy and the patch is barely noticeable for me most of the time.
