Pinyin Recognition
App looks great and runs smoothly, but the pinyin recognition really needs attention. Right now, only toneless pinyin is recognized as correct (i.e. “bu” instead of “bù” or “bu4” for 不). If this is fixed, Noodle could be a great alternative to Skritter.
Update: Pinyin recognition is better, but still not perfect (doesn’t recognize hui4 or zuo4 for 会 or 做 for example). Some definitions are pretty unhelpful for beginners, too (“small table” for 几...?)Show lessNooner son renders
