The SOMweb may only be used on the operator in combination with a photocell. Got there in the end..
Not the most intuitive of software, but once it is set up it does do the job. Links nicely to Apple HomeKit so you can open your garage doors with a voice command on phone or watch. It gives notifications when the doors are opened or closed and can be set to remind you to close them if they have been left open for a while.
All in all, it’s well worth spending a couple of hours setting it up.

Set up isn’t too hard. Alerts are great, especially if you forget to close the door after 10 min

Amazing that this company sells this rubbish. Nothing is intuitive, very poorly thought out. Don’t buy this - a waste of your money.
