Great concept for those in career transition or starting out
In January I was starting my search for a new job, but not having a corporate job (working for myself) made it difficult to know where I fit in with my skill set, and not having a traditional journey on my resume made finding a new career slow-going. By March I had a great job that is really ideal for my life circumstances & allowing me to showcase my skill set. I love the concept of assessing my skills and personality to match me to a job in addition to solely experience, and the openness to new endeavors this creates. Every update of the app becomes more user-friendly, so hopefully everyone coming along after me will have an even better experience!

NO Tech Support - Literally!
I had an issue setting up the account, so I clicked on the button that said “Contact Us” and “Contact Support.” Both took me to the FAQ page, but that is all!
There is NO way to email Tech Support or the Webmaster, NO Phone Number, NO Form to fill out - Nothing! The only reply to the failure of setting up the account was to Try Again Later - I did and Nothing changed.

My experience has been top tier! From setting up my talent profile to adding skills, interests and education to getting matched with an amazing job 10/10 for pepelwerk!! Very straightforward, and easy to navigate! I recommend this to anyone!

Lack of Opportunities, Poor Matching
Downloaded the app years ago but had issues setting up profile. After addressing this I just haven’t received any worthwhile opportunities on my coastline, forget about my state. I have no reason to purchase a membership or seek out coaching sessions when I haven’t seen any proof that they try to send me searches. Word of mouth and pavement pounding has served me more.

Great app for new grad
I recently graduated from my master program and Pepelwerk is the app that saved my life in Covid-19 time.
It is definitely a harsh year for new grads but I’m glad that Pepelwerk gives me the great opportunity to develop my skills while getting connected with companies that need new grads like me. I learned Python, Java and Machine Learning through courses provided by Pepelwerk and I got my offer with a Pepelwerk job match last week with the new skills I learned. Super grateful about everything that Pepelwerk gave me!

Best pre-hire experience ever
I found myself in transition at 55 and having not been through a job search in a while. I felt like I was experiencing a lot of unconscious bias due to my age as well as young recruiters inability to assess my value given I’ve sold intangibles most of my career.
The pepelwerk app let me highlight my skills without any mention of my age. I loved how when I got a match I was notified and if I accepted it went right to scheduling and interview. Feedback was immediate and I wasn’t ghosted after the interview. I got immediate feedback on next steps.
I’ve worked for several Fortune 100 companies with 2 in HR Consulting and my experience with pepelwerk was far better than any of them. I’d highly recommend using pepelwerk.

Hot mess
A good idea but a horrible execution.
Took weeks to find me matches and not at all worth the price.
You can get a “coach” to help you get a job but that’s $55 dollars on top of the membership you pay monthly ($13).
Why pay this much when I can just network on LinkedIn and have endless job postings for $30.
Plus the app is slow and full of bugs that need fixing.
Wouldn’t bother with this app again
My advice: go create a LinkedIn profile and use their services
