This isn’t really an app as such, it really is just a screen with buttons which take you to links on the Stoke-on-Trent Council webpage. I suppose the one thing it has going for it is that you can customise which links you have on your home page of the app. Simply put, it’s an app which allows you to simply find the webpages you need to on the council website. It pretty much acts as a home page for all your frequently used council pages.
I was expecting more from this app when I heard about it. For example, it would be better for reporting fly tipping, if the app opened up Google Maps within it, so you could click a location on it where you have spotted fly tipping. In clicking send, it would send coordinates to the council to pin point it. That’s one example where this could have been so much better. Instead, the app only links to the fly tipping page on the website.
Only really worth it if you want easy access to multiple council web pages, otherwise just bookmark the webpages you want in your favourite browser.
