Lots of technical glitches
While the info they provide is amazing their new app has lots of technical glitches. Just when I boarded and was reading updates to my flight, the app crashed and when I logged in again my flight was gone. Also lost three flights previously for similar circumstances.

I still don’t love to fly. But I used to DESPISE flying. The TSA, the long lines, the layovers, the cramped spaces, the lack of control. Turbulence used to absolutely petrify me. I’ve missed flights in the past because my flight anxiety was so terrible (after one really horribly turbulent flight back from Olympus Fashion Week age 18)
I found this amazing app “Sky Guru Fear of flying help”and it’s seriously changed my life and made flying so much less stressful. I may check it 1000+ times during each flight I take but it’s soothing and science based information to help keep you calm so you can focus on doing other, more important things, like sleeping 😉10/10 highly recommend for anyone with flight anxiety.Show lessSharkvannab

I haven’t used SkyGuru since my flights last December (Hanoi - Singapore), and there have been substantial improvements in the information shared during the flight and the quality of that information. I need to be able to glance and read what is going in as it is happening. This helps me calm myself much quicker. It’s annoying to keep a phone sideways an entire flight, but I do understand why this is necessary. As someone who hates to fly, I really appreciate this app as a tool used to help me feel more in control of myself while flying. Made it Hanoi - Taipei - LAX with only minor anxiety issues. However, the price of one flight now has increased massively. I fly frequently and for £10 for only some information per flight is crazy.chuuurrrlllol

Hi, thanks for your opinion. The package of 10 flights makes each flight significantly cheaper .This new version is a huge letdown
I was a big fan and long-time user of the first version of this app, which worked great and helped me immensely on countless flights. Unfortunately, when I tried to connect to the previous app, for my recent flight, old app was completely bugged, like it wasn’t supported anymore, and I couldn’t log into it. So I went ahead and downloaded the newest version - that’s the one I am writing a review for. On launch, the app told me I had a free flight to get used to the new UI. Great. But after I had to restart the app, the free flight was ended (even though my flight hadn’t even started yet). Huge bummer. But I was a loyal user and I have huge flying anxiety sooo I went ahead and BOUGHT one paying flight anyway, to give the new app a chance. For the whole journey the app was buggy, it didn’t react to what was happening in flight, it was completely useless and laggy, it repeated the same messages time and time again and made my phone overheat. I deleted the app before the flight was even over. I am now applying for a refund.
TLDR: Don’t waste your money. Last version was fantastic, this one is a joke.Show lessbouledechat

If the app "helped you countless flights immensely", we wouldn't expect such a reaction for 1 flight where things could go better ....App doesn’t work

Cant even login to the app
The app simply refuses to login. Completely unusableabstract-class
It used to be good - now it’s too glitchy
The app used to be fantastic. I used it very frequently. However, now with ANY flight despite uninstalling, reinstalling, logging in and out, even creating a new account and purchasing more flights, it still says ‘error retrieving data’ and I cannot get ANY flight data, no matter the time. 5 minutes in advance or 3 hours, it doesn’t matter, it glitches. So disappointing considering it has so much potential. Please reconsider charging so much for flights if it doesn’t even work :(Show lessPokehuntfan
Life changing
Pretty sure this app is the only reason I’m enjoying my honeymoon. Over the past few years I had a sudden fear of flying that was filled with dread and illogical thoughts. I came across this app a couple weeks ago since I have a lot of flights to go on this month. Having this app saved me from cancelling a month long honeymoon! I felt like I had a friend/pilot/therapist on the flight with me reassuring me about every sound and sensation, the safety , the tools , the sense of control is 10/10. Even explaining why there is fear of flying vs the reality of what is happening on the flight just makes me feel so safe and comforted.
I haven’t had any glitches yet maybe once where it restarted and I had to re buy a flight but it was still worth it for me.Show lesschristineb15
