Do not buy this product/app
This company forced me to upgrade to Beam Home when they retired Garageio. I paid for a new device and installed it. Several times a week it gives the following error for no reason and will not let us open the garage door. Spend your money/time elsewhere

no support with apple home kit. I get errors in iphone all the time when opening about controller! need to work a lot on this to improve. look for better solution.BukiG
Works rarely
It’s cool when it works but keeps erroring out and locks me out until i hit the button on the wall in the garage. Works like 3-4 times out of 10 then i have to reset it again.Hexter2
Bad news

ONLY WORKS ON OLDER WIFI NETWORKS
If you ever plan to upgrade to a 5 ghz WiFi network, don’t bother in investing in something that’s already antiquated. I had to dumb down to an old router for this thing to be able to connect to it. Aside from that, works as advertised, and it’s easy to setup!nathanroswell

I’m all for startup companies but sheesh. Throw a little more support behind this app and the garage door opener. If the battery status is correct the 2 AAA batteries that I just installed into the door sensor will run out in about 3 months. ~10% in 1-2 weeks.. pairing with a door sensor error is every other time I try to open the garage door, if it’s not that the swipe up/down is completely unresponsive, I’ve gotten to the point where I just open the door to my garage and walk in.nickname5356
Doesn’t work anymore
Seems like the most recent update has made this app unusable, I get “Your controller requires pairing a door sensor before the request can be processed (428)” I now have to get out of the car and manually punch in my code in order to open the door.

Good try but need improvements!
The setup is very flaky and really need improvement. If you move out of the setup screen, you need to start over again. If you go through the setup, Create an account, and as you try to scan the monitor, if you go back to home, cannot go back and setup again, it errors out saying device is already registered.
If you already have a login account, there is no way add a controller. So looks like one account per controller is required.

Unable to link with Alexa
The garage door opener works great. I love it. Easy installation and easy to use the app. Some reason I can’t link my Alexa to to my account. It gives me the option to allow or not allow, but it will not let me do anything else from there. Do you what is the problem with it?MrCasanova84
Less than 5 minutes to Install
I got this and it took me less than 5 minutes to install and configure , smart garage door in minutes. Opening and closing the door is easy, swipe up or down and I love the auto close feature.
Only complaint, Apple Watch app just closes when trying to open it. Not sure why it won’t work. But app works in iPhone and iPad without issues. Please fix apple watch app!JeremyHaggard
