Couldn’t ask for much more other than a rotate needle feature. Is it as good as practicing on real skin or even fake skin... no. But it’s the closest thing you’re going to get.

Good concept but not there yet.

Good concept but not there yet. The skin damage feature is unrealistic, there’s no way the skin can be that damage after one single pass. The voltage to hand speed ration is off. I “damage” the skin far more when I run the machine in low voltage than if I run it on high which makes no sense. Some nice features here but not as realistic. Fun app to play with, but wouldn’t help you be better as a tattoo artist. The only feature I think was cool to play with is the ink mixing and color palette.

Please help

I’m having difficulty drawing it doesn’t show any lines when trying to stencil but when I click on one of the symbols within the app it works showing that the pen is working but won’t do nothing when I come to draw or tattoo ??

Not too useful for me

I guess I am used to much faster machines when I work. I had the setting in the app all the way "up" but still had to "work" way slower than I do in actual time. Also the mags didn't correspond to the size of the screen for me. The largest mags looked more like 7's or 9's, and there is no way to adjust the size of the image once you are "tattooing" it, so I found it a bit awkward. I will say, the colour collections are nice and pretty similar to how the colours look IRL. I'm sure some will find it more useful than I did.

Not working

This app is not working for me.. everything on the app works but when I press on the screen to tat or trace nothing happens at all .. and yes I picked the colors .. still won’t work I even deleted the app and tried re downloading it and still won’t work. Would have gave it no stars ...I bought an iPad and an Apple Pencil just for this garbage app

Response from developer

Picking the colors is the first step, but one must select a needle configuration and “dip” the needle into a color before drawing can occur. One can refer to the user guide within the app for help learning to use the features. Since the app has been working correctly on other iPad Pros and 7th gen iPads, I can assure that the app is not garbage. Sending me an email with issues so I can help troubleshoot is much more desireable than a damaging review.

Finally!

Worth every penny!
Ive been looking for something like this for a long time.
Its the closest thing to a real tattoo session.

A Hidden gem!

I had a horrible half assed apprenticeship, and I feel like this had brought my game to a whole new level. I’m able to experiment and try new techniques, that I otherwise would’ve been to afraid to try on an actual client. I’ve been tattooing professionally for a couple of years, and this has made a world of difference! Thank you sir.

This is amazing

As an apprentice tattooer, I must say that this app is all kinds of awesome! Only a couple changes or things I would add but that’s really just a preference thing. Have and will continue to recommend!

Feel free to contact me with your ideas.

Try it you will like it!!!!!!!!!!

This App is a dream come true for people who are interested in learning how to tattoo or even for advanced tattoo artists to practice.

This App is the closest thing I have found to tattooing!!!

Great Job and Thanks For Making and Sharing It!!!

Response from developer

Thank you for the review. I took your concerns into consideration and added an undo/redo feature into version 1.65. It is limited to 20 undos and only affects the tattoo layer. Two-finger tap will undo and three-finger tap will redo. I also decreased the size of the 3-liner and made the canvas rotateable and draggable. A quick pinch-zoom will reset the canvas. I’ll await user feedback to see if this is a good feature or not. Saved projects could experience misalignment of the stencil layer with this update, but the user should be able to reposition the stencil and save again.

Amazing

Unbelievable how easy to use. Blend colors, shading and filling so smooth and responsive
