  • Doesn’t work—developer did respond

Edit—developer did respond. I am waiting to hear back. Giving this a neutral review until I hear more.

Don’t purchase—it doesn’t work, and trying to get support from the creator results in your email being returned to you. Avoid!

Dear user, Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them. The application works inside your Safari browser, as describe in the app description and in the app itself. You can save files from your browser directly to Dropbox, not any file from your phone, but the ones from the browser. You can also send me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly provide you with more details.Regards.
  • Hangs up my computer

All I get is a white square and I have to close the page. Doesn't work.

Dear user,Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them. This happens on all websites? Just try with another website or another file link to see if the extension is properly installed. You can also send me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly provide you with more details.Regards
  • Works very well but needs some improvements

The only request i have is to remove the popup immediately after clicking on the save to dropbox button, right now it only goes away after saving the file which could take a while sometimes

That's the only minor issue i had with the app
    other than that
    Awesome extension!
  • Garbage

Hello, Thank you for your review. The app you downloaded is a Safari extension that can be used to send documents and files directly from your browser to Dropbox without any download. It does not require the Dropbox app, but if you would also need the Dropbox app, you can download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/downloading To save a document that you see in your Safari browser to Dropbox, just right click the document link and select the "Save to Dropbox" option or, if you have a document opened in your browser (like a PDF document), just click the extension button in Safari (near the address bar). So this extension integrates Dropbox with Safari, this is the job. If you need something else, I guess you can use the Dropbox app that you can download from the above link. Hope this helps. Regards
  • Menu Option Not as Advertised

Buyer beware. I just wasted $1.99 -- glad it wasn't more! Sheesh there isn't an option "Save to Drop Box" when I right click on my video. ;(

Dear user, Thank you for your review. The app works very well for documents, files, links, pages (just about anything that can accessed from the browser). But for videos, sometimes (not all times) the owner of the site, let's say Youtube.com can hide the location of the video or stream it in real time - this is true only for video, other kind of files will work just right with this extension. Can you tell me from what site are you trying to use the video? You can also send me a message to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly provide you with more details Regards
  • Too Limited to Use

Spent $2 for an extension Save to Drop Box for Safari, BOO! My money was a waste. The extension is far to complcated to be user friendly. I wanted to upload some of the writing (papers) that I was completing, It will not upload anything on my screen to DropBox unless the documenty is open in a browser. Look at the Title and First two line of description in the App Store; no mention that ONLY “stuff” on the web brower will be upload. This program needs an upgrade or at least change in the descrption of the program. Boo!

Dear user, Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them. The application is for Safari, indeed and it's sending content from Safari to your Dropbox without the need of download or transfer, it's much faster. If you want to upload content to Dropbox from your browser, just go to dropbox.com and upload your files from there - this extension does something else: you can save files, documents, images or videos to Dropbox without download, directly from your browser. You can also write me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly provide you with more details. Regards
  • Where is it?

Downloaded says it’s a safari extension but doesn’t show up under share or move to anywhere and when you open it up the only option you have is to disable it! Not that I care about 1.99 but I do care about the 20+ minutes I wasted trying to get this to show up on share or anywhere so that I could indeed save to dropbox!!!!

Dear user, This is a Safari extension, indeed, and works very well with documents you can find in Safari. So if you open a document in your browser (for example, a PDF file or a webpage) you can press the extension button and send the document to Dropbox. Also, if you right click a link (to a document, file, video or anything else, the app can send it to your Dropbox account). So remember: just right click or press the extension button. You can also send me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly provide you with more details. Regards
