Does not work with YouTube

I purchased this with the intent of streaming to YouTube, it has the option to stream from YouTube and it says that if you want to use this option you must upgrade to the premium version. I did this and it does not work. Very disappointing and a total waste of money and the support has been useless

Can be uneven

Been using this app for 4 years. I feel like I know it pretty well. It generally works well. Good cell service is key. If the cell service is slow, the user experience of the person watching elsewhere will be choppy and go in and out. Customer service or support is nonexistent. The website is poor. They do not answer phone calls. Right now (February 2024), the app has been unresponsive for at least the past two days. It has not been possible to stream events or go back and watch previous events. I have not searched other options for streaming live events, but I will now. I suggest any potential purchaser do the same. $45 is a lot to spend when the service is unusable.

Another weekend, another SeasonCast failure

I’m beyond frustrated with this app. We were able to film one basketball game this weekend, but during our second game, the app ended the recording, and we haven’t been able to “Start Live Broadcast” since. This is the 4th weekend this season the app has failed us. I have contacted customer service three times now to no avail.

We are not going to renew for the upcoming season. This app hasn’t had any updates in 7 months, it’s terribly inconsistent, and there is NO customer service. We’re going to try other options.

Please contact support@seasoncast.com with any concerns. We would love to fix any issues you have with our service. We now use the triple camera setup. This means you can zoom in to switch between the cameras offered on the the device.

I want to love this app. But it’s so unreliable

When this all works, it works well. The video quality is great. The scoreboard graphics work very well. It’s easy to share with others both live and post-game.

But we’ve had three full weekends this year where the app simply hasn’t worked. You hit the button, and get a spinning wheel of doom, or literally nothing happens, and suddenly we are without video for our family and friends.

And customer support is completely and utterly non-existent. It could be days before you hear back from anyone - if at all.

I’d love to support this app and I’ll change my review if it gets better. Until then I’d consider other options.

When it works, it’s great

Free to view and reasonable to purchase the Broadcast function.
Nice functions include Scoreboard, Time clock, full Bandwidth broadcasting, and recordings saved on device while streaming.

Customer service is limited and some extra functions do not work. There are sometimes system glitches which make it only 80-90% reliable.

Fix the glitches

I love I can watch my grandchildren play volleyball when I can’t be there. However, there are a lot of glitches and with more updates comes more glitches. We use to at least be able to see the score and the outcome even if the video is bad.

Love that we can watch our Granddaughter and her team play their Volleyball competitions, with my coffee in our home when we can’t make it to her tournaments. Fantastic‼️

Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Trying to find out where to seek help is problem number one. Once you seqrxh and figure out how to communicate with them, you get absolutely no response. I’m sure the next notice I get from them is a renewal which I plan to cancel! I haven’t been able to reset my password and logging for half the year. No effort has been made on their part to help rectify the issue. I have tried multiple times to contact them. I received a confirmation that they received my inquiry and they said someone will respond in 48 hours. It’s way past 48 days. CANCELLING!! Too bad because the quality of the recording is pretty good. The app itself is so basic. No options. I’m sure there are better apps or at least comparable in video quality and better support service.
