Privacy issue?

Like the camera, app and features which are much better than kami app for other kami camera I have. Main issue is I have device microphone turned off in settings, yet on playing back a clip this morning I could hear myself talking in the background so it had recorded everything I said!! Very naughty and may lead me to return after Christmas if not resolved. Also Alexa integration does not work as can’t view live feed on fire tv stick as just keeps buffering but never shows live image. I emailed customer support over two weeks ago about this and they never bothered replying.

Subscription is a massive rip off.
It also used to let me just watch motion but now I have to pay? This is insane. F yall.

Subscribe is not working

I cannot subscribe, after a click on paypal, execute all steps, click on Log in nothing happens, no error message or login

Not a good company to buy from

My husband bought 5 or six camera form this company and chose not to buy a subscription. I thought we could use the iCloud storage , but none of the packages you buy even with an annually subscription, gives complete services on the amount of cameras you purchase β€œexample” I wanted to buy the subscription for the AI subscription which would recognize , people animals and cars, within the packages they only have 1 camera that would receive the AI adaptability, while you pay for a subscription that supports all . If it was me I would return every camera asap.

Would be a solid 5 until recent update.

Long tame user!
Recent update has just made the replay feature redundant and now useless for my specific purposes, unless I continuously record which is a nightmare to sift through!
Before the update the whole thing was brilliant but unless they fix the mess this update has caused I’ll be looking elsewhere.
A massive shame and also incredibly inconvenient while needing to capture footage for legal reasons!

Updates removed standard features

This app was ok for a free app and the ads to buy the cloud service were annoying but dismissible from since about 4 months ago. However, since the latest β€œbug fix” updates (Aug-Sep 2023?) it blocks to see the local SD card replay clips with an ad to buy the cloud service.
Also turning off the company watermark only works once and after a reboot the watermark appears again even though the selector is set to β€œoff”.
Obvious crappy poor customer service and untrustworthy company employing shady practices.

Nice App with a few problems

The app works beautifully to connect to and setup the cameras. I have 4 Q5’s and the app works nicely with them. It’s also acceptable at previewing and downloading the recorded video in the Replay section. The option the store video on the cloud or an sd card is very nice.
One problem I have is that the download must be all on the same day. So if I start a download clip at 11:55pm - 12:05am it will not work. Also the 10 minute limit on sd card video downloads is rather short. I would assume a different camera app would allow longer downloads. Or pulling the sd card and retrieving via pc, but that would be a hassle.
Overall I like the cameras and the app.
