  • Good, but lags, and no diversity

    Love it so far! Though it lags a lot when scrolling through the icons to add different moods or factors, which isn’t as great. Also wish there were same-sex icons for me and my spouse, but otherwise love the design of the app. Will update to 5 stars once it stops lagging while scrolling through icons.

  • Have to pay to use this app every month!

    Works well, but not worth paying for it every month!
  • Potentially good apps but terrible update process

    I tried Moody and Grateful which seemed to have good potential for helping me. The trial was by number of entries instead of time, which is stupid. Posting 5 moods per day meant I ran out of trial before I could even see trends in the graphs.
    I decided to purchase the Growth bundle and did so from the Grateful app. That worked ok and the update message in that app stopped showing.
    Not so with Moody. I spent 30 minutes fooling around with it and finally deleted the app the reinstalled it which fixed it.
    That said, the developers could do much better with this process. I was ready to quit and ask for a refund. Now I am unhappy with this so I guess I’ll try to journal that!

  • Very customizable but icons lack representation

    I really like this app and others in the suite. The interface is smart and user-friendly and the design has a cool modern feel. What doesnt feel modern is that relationship icons only show hetero-normative couples and people are phenotypically European, with standard body types. As “moods” icons include whimsical robot-alien hybrids and spiral- and x-eyed faces, the lack of representation among the other icons is even more striking.

  • The best I've tried

    My doctor recommended that I get a mood tracking app, but the one he recommended cost $60/year for the premium version so I decided to try others. I downloaded a dozen or so, and this is the one that came out on top. Easy to use, with exactly the features I need, and the premium version is a one-time payment of $5.99 which is pretty cheap compared to most mental health apps. I like how I can see a graph of how I've felt over time during a single day, as well as weekly, monthly and yearly graphs. Personally, my favorite thing about this app is how easy it is to add moods and factors while I'm making an entry. It's nice having so many emoji options and being able to tailor the features to my own needs. I set mine up with 10 moods instead of the default 5, so I have a slightly more nuanced feeling.

  • Crashing

    I’m sure this is a great app and really helpful but for me it just keep crashing before it’s even loaded. Such a shame, was really looking forward to using it
  • Great Mental Health App

    I’m thrilled with this app! It has the ability to track your moods and various (customizable) factors that could influence them. I’m tracking factors like medication, exercise, eating habits, caffeine, social media use, journaling, sleeping, cbd oil, and more. Checking in can be as simple as rating your mood on a scale, or in-depth with a place for notes. I love that it’s password protected. I’m excited to see what updates might come in the future!

    When ever I try to open the app it just kicks me out after a few seconds
  • Highly recommend

    I am big on self reflection, as my moods tend to be quite powerful. This app helped me identify certain triggers that would provoke certain moods, as a result stay away or reduce exposure. It helped me see how certain life events maintained a certain mood onto the next following couple of days, which helped me see I wasn’t just being ‘moody’. This app allowed me to learn more about myself in such a clever and clean way! Unfortunately I downloaded it December 2019 and had to delete it as the 2020 version doesn’t work, do I just redone load or is there another version I can download? As I really need this app for 2020, and really self improve.

    One critic I would say for the 2019 version is that when writing a new ‘entry’ you select the mood and factors going on in the here and now. It then flicks off and you have to reclick on the entry, press edit then you can add a note and picture and so on. Would be much better if this feature was corrected. That aside, I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone who wants to improve there mental state.

    However I have just reached my first 15 days ‘trial’ for free which I didn’t know I had which is disappointing as I think mental health apps like this should come free as the poor stay mentally poor too as I can’t afford it. Thank you so much as it did really help me!! 😎
