Leave a Review CardCastle MTG
Fantastic at scanning, less so compatibility.
First of all, this was a lifesaver. I was gifted a friend’s collection of bulk cards, and I wished to sort them into my moxfield collection. I was capably able to scan all the cards, the app was great.
The only problem arose when trying to export the CardCastle collection as a CSV, in no form that moxfield accepted. I ended up opening the CSV and copying all the card names into a moxfield deck, and adding that to my collection (without details of printing).
It must be emphasised that this was only a minor detriment and I am more than happy to have come across this app.
The only request I have of the developers is that there is an export option in a format moxfield can use. Thank you so much for this fantastic app.Show lessGreat collection tracker but leaves a lot do be desired in deck building
The ease of use of the app cannot be applauded enough, along with the consistency of its platform, me and my nephew will team up and scan through my cards at the same time on two different devices and my collection is always updated accordingly on each which is very impressive, the filtering can use work though, it doesn’t need to be as in depth as say a card kingdom advanced filter but it is pretty lackluster when you compare it to many other products, the deck building is frustrating with the extremely limited filter functionality which has resulted in all of my decks becoming tags, I’ve found it’s easier to scan the cards all in one sitting then tag them with the commander name than to go through and look up every single card after already scanning through them all just to add them to the deck, a feature that allows you to scan in decks would be much appreciated, also I cannot for the life of me figure out what the M’s are for in the filter screen lolShow lessThe Missing Link
I have been collecting Magic for years and my collection was ridiculous. I had no idea how to organize. It went from binders, boxes, boxes based on rarity, then boxes based on set. I never knew what I had. This app allows me to see when prices change and what I have so when k am building future decks I just need to look up what I have. My only wish is that it tracked sealed products and I have reached out to them. They said they were working on that for a future release.Show lessAwesome app
Just found this app and it is super easy to scan your cards and catalogue your collection. It shows up to date prices of the cards. Really great app to use.Nice
Great app but I think you should be able to buy more storage instead of having to buy the whole $90 a year for unlimited cardsSome missing features that would make it better
App was good but I think having a frature to change currency would be great
Also a way to be able to see the entire value of your collection would be brilliantGreat app for mtg
First time I’m using an app to scan my collection of mtg cards and so far the scanning has been smooth. There are some glitches but resolved after some angle adjustment or retrying.Amazing
It’s really amazing easy to use simple fast and the money feature is helpful if you’re choosing to sell a bunch .. only issue is scanning older cards I’m
Finding it favours newer ones other then that I’m loving it !What a scanner
So far scanning has been going really well, the biggest hurdle was finding a white background to scan the cards on (makes it a million times easier). Haven’t checked out the desktop manger side of things yet, but will when my scanning is done. This works so well for me because I work out of town most weeks and it’s just not feasible to lug my whole collection around to build decks.Show lessI love it
I have never ever reviewed an app before in my life. However, I feel this one is worth it. They have all the essentials of organizing a magic collection. The free option is for very small collections in my opinion as it only goes up to 1,000 cards. That might seem like a lot to some but now a days if you get a daft box you automatically get 360 cards so idk. You can also build three decks. The next jump up is $100 per year and that to me feels very expensive. However if you divide it up by week it’s $1.92 so 🤷🏻♀️ seems fair to have unlimited storage and decks.Show less
