Disappointed

I'm disappointed that the latest update has made adding drinks via the Apple Watch a more tedious process. What used to take two taps (complication, then the favorite item) now takes three (complication, favorite menu, then the favorite item). Same goes for adding a drink from a list. Before you could select the drink type and amount on the same screen. Now you have to click through two screens. Also three drink types show in the box instead of one. I assume the one in the middle is the selected one? I dunno, but this update seems completely unnecessary and makes me dislike the app now when previously I loved it.

Doesn’t provide reminders

The app doesn’t provide reminders but does track if ‘you’ remember to use it.

Response from developer

There are many reasons why there may be no reminders. Please do the following: 1. Open the App 2. Open the Settings page 3. Find the 'Reminder' column 4. Click the 'Reminder Info' button From the pop-up page, you can see information about the reminder. If you still have problems, we recommend that you contact us through the feedback button in the App, and we will help you solve the problem as soon as possible.

UPDATE
Still no app update- very unhappy that I’ve lost years of data and paid for upgrade.

Got a response from Support. The suggestions didn’t work but they have a new update coming that should fix the issue. If it does then I’m all over it and very happy with a five star review. I’ll wait and see! I appreciate finally getting a response

Originally, I would’ve given this five stars as it’s done the trick and I even paid to upgrade it. I recently traded to a new phone while it transferred the app, it put me back at level zero. No history, no upgrade no restoration of purchase. Nada.
Reached out to support and I’ve heard nothing back.

Response from developer

1. After changing your phone, you need to open the app, go to the payment page, and click the “Restore Purchases” button in the bottom left corner. 2. Open the app, go to the settings page, and click “Restore Data from iCloud.” If you still cannot restore, please wait for the new version of the app. Currently, the app supports data export but does not support data import. The new version will address this issue and support manual data migration. Hello. You don't need to manually delete the last drink volume, you only need to enter the new drink volume. When you enter the amount of water you drink, the last drink amount will be automatically cleared.

would be nice if it worked

how simple is it to track liquid intake. pretty hard with this app as it likes to turn off and uninstall functionality on your apple watch.
you can go to bed with it working and wake up with the watch face input suddenly gone. Apple says it’s an application but so you’re on your own as no way to get it fixed.

Response from developer

Sorry, please long-press the watch face to reconfigure the complications. This is the last time this issue will occur. The reason is that we had to modify the implementation of the complications when resolving the app issue earlier, and these solutions were incompatible, which caused these problems.

My favorite “water app” by far

I tried numerous water apps before settling on this one. It allows you to track all kinds of fluid intake, not just water, and calculates the amount of water content for you. In addition to dozens of preset items (water, sports drinks, milk shakes, etc., etc.), it allows you to add your own.
Entering a drink that you’ve consumed is easy and quick. It also allows you edit entries, even from previous days.
It has optional settings that allow you to customize many things. And it’s creative without being overly “cutsie.”
Best of all, when you contact “support”, you get responses in a timely manner.

Great app but reduced functionality on watch

Update.

Excellent support fixed my issue below.

I love this app and have been a long time user. Sadly though some recent update on my watch and the widget on the face no longer shows :( I still get reminders and can log drinks but can’t see progress.

Amazing app :3

this is app is good that I have to make a review on it asap. The all the other apps are unfortunately locked and I don’t want to spend money on it. :( But! water tracker, has premium but does have a lot of benefits that’s free, suitable for me. I love it, from the first start and had to investigate why people loved it so much. There’s a reason why it’s good at 4.8 stars‼️‼️

Doesn’t make a sound

Why have sounds available if they’re not going to make a sound? I have notifications on, sound applied, everything as it should be. I get a notification on my Apple Watch but it makes no sound or vibration (watch is set up to do do) so I miss it.

Response from developer
