  • This is a good app!!

There are some things I’d like to see, but over all it is a really solid app.

Hi Moshopro, For any feature requests, suggestions for improvements, and bug reports, please contact me at aligokturk80@gmail.com. I try to release new versions regularly, and I can say that in every update, more than 50% of the new features and improvements are suggested by users.
  • Closest thing to Mainstage on iOS!

Let’s get the cons out of the way.... this app is ugly, there are a few limitations and has in app purchases ... ugh.
Now for the pros, this app is rock solid, lightweight and flexible. Our set list for my band has over 30 songs in it. I treat each scene as a song and am able to fluidly switch between them with no lag. My rig is simple, but this helps me to better manage everything in one place. This was also the only host to successfully load my more picky software synth every time.
I regrettably purchased Camelot pro before this and was about to give up. Glad I found this gem. Thank you!

  • KeyStage - don’t think twice, just get it - it’s great!

I guess I’ve been using KeyStage for about a year now and I simply wouldn’t be without it - it’s at the heart of my gigging keyboard rig. You do all the hard work at home or in the studio so, when you get to the gig, you can concentrate on playing. Simply put, using KeyStage I can select and set up all my hardware and software instruments and FX and display my charts or sheet music on a song by song basis, arrange them into set lists, then I’m gig ready. But there’s far more depth to KeyStage than that - I’ve been able to control apps that use Control Change (CC) and Program Change (PC) parameters using a Roland keyboard that only understands Sysex addresses, and I’ve also been able to unearth hundreds of ‘hidden’ GM2 sounds from that keyboard too. I’m able to easily arrange splits and layers for countless software and hardware instruments and easily change instruments during each song. And the recent upgrade to KeyStage 2.0 has opened up further possibilities too that I’m only on the verge of discovering. You’ve got to work at KeyStage to get the best out of it though - I wouldn’t say it’s exactly ‘plug and play’ although it can be for simple stuff. And with KeyStage Lite (free) and the ability with In-App purchase modules to ‘try before you buy’, you can easily get a handle on whether KeyStage is for you or not. And if you get stuck, the developer is super responsive at providing support. So don’t delay - download KeyStage today!

  • Godsend for iOS keyboard musicians

Takes some setting up and learning - but the tutorials are fantastic. Once up and running this really helps to unleash the power of combining iOS synths with your hardware gear.
  • A MUST HAVE FOR KEYBOARDISTS

Absolutely love this app! I run my entire catalog of tunes in Keystage for all performances. It’s amazing. The routing capabilities and features are extraordinarily helpful and intuitive. Ali is a wonderful developer, communicates very well and is VERY responsive.

    Highly, highly, highly recommended.

    Think Mainstage for iPad.

Just finished the new version with the mentioned problem resolved. I was planning to release it today, but the App Store is on holiday between Dec 23 - 27. So the fixed version will be available right after the holiday. Ali
  • Excellent App for Live Performance

I love KeyStage for controlling my hardware keyboards for gigs.i actually prefer this over mainstage because it is more reliable.would love to see midi fx like the ones in mainstage e.g chord trigger, arpeggiator implemented.that would be a killer feature. Thanks again to the developers of KeyStage.
  • Keystage Magic

A great app for keyboard players especially in a live situation. It controls all the sounds and parameters of my Roland keyboard. Other hardware synths and controllers can be added as well as apps from the Ipad for layers and splits. Easy to change the sounds while playing using the saved song sections. There are some excellent tutorials on Youtube just type Keystage in the search box. So far I found no bugs and very easy to use.

  • Amazing the doors this app opens!

This app has just opened up amazing possibilities for the person who wants to use their iPad for live performance! The developer is very quick to answer questions and very helpful as well!

Now I can use multiple apps in live performance with one master keyboard controller (or more if I’d like) and quickly be able to switch between apps and switch patches inside of those apps! Outstanding! I just went from having to pause between songs to quickly change sounds and now I can have instant patch changes on the fly right in the middle of a song!

Worth every cent of the $15 I paid!

Now.... if only ALL iOS Music App developers would start to adapt some basic MIDI standards - like Program Changes!
