Addictive and fun, but please fix
Firstly, what a fantastic game! It is SO CUTE and ADDICTIVE, and has engaging storylines. The only negative feedback I have is that, starting from year 3 or 4, it has started randomly crashing (black screen) which makes me lose a whole day’s progress. The first time this happened, was right after I ate a meal at the Calico desert fest food tent, the second time was when trying to open an artifact trove. I found that if I re-load the game and repeat the same action, it happens again. From then on, it just happens randomly on the odd occasion. Not often enough to stop me from playing the game, but when it happens, it is so annoying.

Obsessed but needs some updates
I avoided this game because it was 2D and it wasn’t ever my style. But I downloaded it and I’m obsessed, I’ve finished pretty much everything there is in this game. There’s no in game purchases which I like, so it’s fair on everyone. It took awhile to understand how to play it but all it took was a google search and there’s a whole wiki with all the info.
If I had a PC I would add mods to this game to have more storyline’s, quests and more lines for the npc’s.
PLEASE add some more depth to the npc’s, i would adore if there were more options to be able to talk to them and have more scenes with them. Eventually talking to them got boring because it would be the same thing, i also wish they could be more included in the gameplay, like you could adventure with them in certain areas, have more complex relationships or be able to dress them up or have conversations. I also wish the children could have an option to grow up and be able to customise them. This game is amazing and has so much potential. I’m really glad I played it. Just wish there was some more depth.

AMAZING but occasionally annoying
i love stardew wholeheartedly, been playing for more than four years now and i love the progress the game made on mobile. however with the latest update (and before that as well), for some reason when I open the settings while in game and then return to playing, the tools bar expands to abnormal sizes that aren’t even available in the game to be chosen? it can only be fixed if i quit the world and join again, but there’s more. i tried to choose the joystick settings and how it looks on the screen, hence i go to the settings, but once i return to the game my tool bar expands. i leave and rejoin the world but the changes i made to the joysticks also aren’t active, so i cant fight manually at all unless I have the massive tool bar. what the hell am i to do?

Great Game, but Controller Support is questionable
I’m writing this review before 1.6 has been rolled out to Mobile, but the Controller support isn’t the greatest.
The game is great; I’ve not made much progress, but the story, gameplay and mechanics are really fun and interesting. But the Controller Support for mobile isn’t as good as Native Consoles.
I shouldn’t expect 100% identical Controller support to Consoles, but some things that are ideal are missing. Some menus do not have a cursor or highlight to show what you’re interacting with. For example, the main inventory menu has no indication of what I’m hovering over, so I have to count how many tiles I move, or blindly guess what I’m hovering over. Another example is that when viewing my inventory to sell, my controller input will only hover over the inventory button to view it, despite it being already open, and cannot move to anything else. Things such as this being fixed in the due 1.6 update would be great, and improve the experience.
Again, great game - FANTASTIC game, better than a lot of big game dev studios these days, but some adjustments or fixes can improve it more.

Beautiful Game ♡
This game is really good, I play it quite a lot. Sometimes I take a break from it for a while but it's so good. It's so calming, and its just a nice peaceful way to escape from the real world for a bit. I've never actually left a review on an app so this is what I think 😅 It's wonderful buuuut, maybe they could add like ways you can like bring up your kids maybe, and they actually grow up, cause like I love my character, but I think it would be kind of cool if the farm could get passed down to on of the kids right? Also I wish you could do more sort of designing or building in the house.. But apart from these leetle things that arnt even a problem. I love it so much, and if you are looking for a relaxing game you should totally download it ♡

Amazing
Great game with a homey feel to it and just love the game overall, but it would be amazing if the developers could add multiplayer to mobile devices as well because I’m on mobile and would love to create and a world with my friends. Overall a really great game!
It’s really good and I don’t want to sound naggy but
I love this game and I’ve got quite far. I love to fish but a few problems, when I’m done fishing and I’m going home The game will not stop making a fishing line noise and it makes me mad. Also, I would really like it if multiplayer could be added so I can play with my stepmum and sister. A joystick would do wonders but if you make it I suggest making it a option in the settings. Sometimes there is this problem where when I’m standing still my player will just WALK OFF! but it’s super rare, anyway like I said I’m loving this game and I think you should download it because it’s so fun and it’s totally worth the money.

My fav game ever
Been playing this game since 2016 on pc, finally tried it on mobile when i didnt have a pc, managed to 100% perfection! So glad its on mobile, hope CP updates this for 1.6 soon ❤️
Wish I wasn’t so disappointed
This game is cute and looks great but after 6 days playing I’ve given up on it. I’ve reached a point where there seems to be no direction and the instructions are vague. I can’t work out how to refill my watering can to grow veg. The storage bag gets too full then additional items you need like a fishing rod or sword get lost as there’s no room for them, then there’s seemingly no way to get them back. So feels like I can’t process now and it’s got stale walking around seemingly not able to complete tasks At the start of the game it said to clear the farm so I did and sold the raw materials like rocks and wood but then it didn’t tell you need them to access other things and I had none left. So very much got stuck without being able to gain items back. I love games so I just think I’m missing something with this one and wish I didn’t buy it now. Lots of other folk seem to enjoy it though so you might too, but it’s left me totally perplexed.

New favorite game!
Update: April 28, 2024 Been crashing more and more even when chopping wood and stones on my farm. I’m on IPad 12 pro max.
Few of my friends played this and told me to get it. It was so pixelated I was turned off so it took me a couple months to do it. I’ve been playing for a couple weeks nonstop and it’s my favorite game EVER! But a few things… It always freezes while I’m fighting in the caves, fishing or in the community center so I have to close it out and lose progress. Now, I have to keep saving along the way which is sometimes a pain because i forget some of the things I have done prior to the save whenever it freezes. Also, some of the stories do not play out. For instance, the one with Alex and his dog. It’ll start the story then it just immediately stops. It doesn’t freeze up, the story just cuts off. I now realize when it’s happening so I close it out to trigger it again. I’m sure I have missed out on a couple stories before I realized it was happening which is a total bummer. 🙁 iPad is kind of a pain because we can’t just click on an item to add it to shipping bin and storage, we have to click and drag one by one. I use the bins and storage several times a day since I play all day so it gets tedious and I find myself avoiding it. I play with an Xbox controller and mouse. That’s all I can think of for now. Otherwise, it is the best game ever!!
