Amazing app! One suggestion though.

Would it be possible to add the ability to add notes to bowling balls? Main reason I’m asking is I would like to add notes for weight block, cover stock, flare potential, what finish the ball is at, etc. Overall it’s a great app!

Thanks!!!!

Response from developer

Yeah! I can definitely add that. Be on the look out in the next couple updates as it shouldn't take me too long to do. Thanks for the kind words about the app!

Premier Bowling Tracking App

Provides tracking for every type of bowler from beginner to elite. Developer is easily reachable and open to suggestions. I recommend this app to the athletes I coach and use the app to track my bowling. Highly recommended.

Response from developer

Thank you very much for the kind words Andrew!!

Should show as a paid app

The free version works well. Takes a little getting used to a few quirks but easily maneuverable. The app quits working after so many games. Didn’t show that this was a paid app. If it did the rating would be high but don’t try to elude people into thinking this was a free app.

Response from developer

Hi there! Sorry about any confusion! It is definitely not my intention to elude anyone. Originally the app was a pay up front style of app, but I received many requests from users who wanted to try out the app before they bought it. After surveying the user base, it seemed listing the app for free and then providing a way to upgrade (via the app store's in-app purchase capability) if they wanted to keep going with it was what many users preferred. I do realize that Apple doesn't make that very easy to see in the store listing. I am open to any ideas you might have on how I can make this more clear (for example, maybe I should move the part in the app store description where it explains the 12 game limit for the free version to be higher up). I certainly don't want people to feel cheated or eluded once they download the app so any thoughts or ideas you have would be great!

Stats

It only calculates stats for the first day I bowled. Even though it saved and lists my second day when you look at stats it’s only for the first day

Response from developer

First of all, let me apologize for not responding to this review faster. As for the stats only showing the first day, a few things you can check: Make sure you don't have any filters applied that would be limiting the data calculated. Make sure the games you are expecting to see in the stats have the Include In Stats toggle turned on. This is turned off by default on practice games. If those suggestions don't work, shoot me an email at support@bowlr.app and we will get it figured out! Sorry for your troubles!

It’s a great app— id love the full version

I really like the app— it’s so good in fact that I’d contemplate buying the full version. However, I press upgrade and it doesn’t do anything.

Response from developer

First of all, let me apologize for not responding to this review faster. If you are still having issuing making the purchase, shoot me an email at support@bowlr.app and we will get it figured out!

I like it but

I like the App but I don’t to use it based on no ability to turn something like a dark mode on please add

Response from developer

Hi there! I have added dark mode as of version 5.5.3. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Can’t upgrade to pro

So this lets you average 12 games. Lot of typing work just for adding 12 numbers and dividing by 12.

Response from developer

Sorry about this. Apple is preventing me from pushing a new app that has the in app purchase setup correctly. I am working with them, but they are being very difficult. If you send a message to support@bowlr.app, I will get you taken care of. Again, sorry for the trouble. EDIT: I have finally worked out a solution with Apple and this issue is now fixed. Once you upgrade to version 3.1.6 you will be able to successfully purchase the pro upgrade. Let me know if you have any issues (support@bowlr.app).

Shady Scam

The app kept asking for my Apple password. I (stupidly) typed it in, then Apple locked my Apple ID for suspicious activity. While trying to unlock it and change my password, I got some security questions that I didn’t recognize.

App didn’t even work well. Can’t go back and edit a frame’s score if you tapped it in wrong. Don’t install this garbage.

Response from developer

Interesting. That does sound concerning. If you would like to troubleshoot this further, I am more then happy to help out. Just shoot me a note at support@bowlr.app and we can get you taken care of.

Great app - would like to be able print or send the stats

Response from developer

Thanks! Appreciate the rating and review. Sharing games and stats is something I have in my backlog.
