Awful!

I’ve registered my account, verified my e-mail and can’t get past the spinning/thinking circle of death! It refuses to open from my iPhone 13 Pro Max that says it’s compatible with Biotronic’s app 🤦🏼‍♀️ This would obviously be a great tool to have to monitor my pacemaker from home. Unfortunately it’s nothing more than a colossal waste of my time!

For a company that has come so far in medical advances you’d think a simple app would be fairly easy for them to implement 🤷🏼‍♀️ So, so disappointed in this.

Response from developer

Dear Sheila, we appreciate your honest feedback. Our priority always lies in the quality of our implanted devices.   The app is an additional tool to support the life of patients with devices, and it has no influence on the performance of our implanted devices. Nevertheless, it is an important product to us, which we are working hard on to improve. But sometimes depending on the underlying reason and priorities it takes some time to implement feedback and fix issues in the app – like in your case. Please send an email to the BIOTRONIK Health Services Customer Service Center at patientapp.support@biotronik.com. Our specialists will assist you appropriately. Thank you!

Useless

Impossible to register. I gave carefully followed the instructions again and again. I give up

Limited usefulness

This app feels like an afterthought. The login isn’t persistent, isn’t recognized by Apple’s built-in password manager, doesn't have a URI set to be recognized by third party password managers, doesn’t support biometric login (Face ID, etc). Once you get in, it shows a splash screen asking how you’re feeling that won’t go away until 3-4 seconds after you press the X in the corner. Confirmation of the date/time of the last successful sync my pacemaker did is helpful. The teeny tiny graphs below it are of very limited use since you can’t zoom in or get the actual values being displayed. Would love to see more of my own data, in greater detail.

Hello, thanks for the feedback. We have forwarded it to the appropriate team.

Useless for an end user

This app tells you some info about your device (do you need that info?), some average HR (nothing on low or high HR)…and that’s about it. Useless if you want any details about what’s going on with your device (AICD) or with your heart or what’s happened in the past. None of that data is available. Might as well go see the doctor and not load this app.

Ugh

Can’t connect. “A problem occurred during communication with our server”.

Access to Data

Why can’t the app show things like heart rate throughout the day as opposed to only when it checks in? Why can’t the app show events they have taken place over the last 24 hours?

Not enough data

I would love to see detailed heart rate data and percentage of pacing. At the moment the app tells me pretty much nothing about my heart or pacemaker. I get more heart rate data from my Apple Watch!

My App

I think the app could be greatly improved if you could stay logged in all the time and if your log in and password could be saved in your password chain. It’s frustrating to have to log in almost every time you have to record symptoms!

Used to work

With this new version I can not get the app to load on my iPhone 12 Max. The app was limited to begin with and now it doesn’t load at all. Asks for my username and password, begins to load and just get circular spinning icon that never loads the app. This needs to be tested before it gets released. I can’t check things out now. Hope they can fix this.

Unreliable

Crashing, logging out as you input data , good luck if you’re suffering for anything cardiac or insulin diabetic and need immediate results or try to calmly sort out things
