Terrible,ablosulety terrible.We have a regular old cameras at our house that go with older app and I hate that app.Now my camera guy convinced me to install newer cameras on Speco Gray by selling me that this app is much better so I went for it,what a mistake.This app is better than the old one but is terrible anyways.It takes forever for the image to show up,it keeps circling trying to connect,and no it has nothing to do with the network,no matter where you are or how strong you signal is it does the same thing.Even when you double tap to switch from camera to camera,it’s circling,so annoying.I also noticed that it skips recording.I was replaying particular time in particular place and one camera had the incident recorder (from the worst angle) and another one did not but was pointing at the same spot.How come motion in that stop was not recorded,it skipped? My older surveillance system didn’t have that problem and I really lived my other iVMS-4500 app .Show lessCimir

Something needs to be done about this app. It’s important to be able to use it but I have more frustrating times than not!Removes features on updates
Guess you need to upgrade to a NVR that uses the ‘blue’ app to use a domain name. The older version worked great. Still curious why it tries to connect to Baidu when opened.davenyc12
Incredible system!
By far my favorite Speco system. App is super user friendly and the DVR is such an unbelievable piece of technology with its capabilities. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, those people just need to learn how to use the app and system.Ragnar627

Cameras are very good but this app makes the product useless!!! I am away from home and can’t monitor my house. Yes, I may have good video after something is stolen or destroyed but I want to be able to monitor live- DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF POOP PRODUCT- I regret it!!Ishot3bucks
App update bad
My system and app were working great.
Evidently, after an update, the system disconnects or won’t connect. Freezes and won’t stream then disconnects. I see others are having the same problems as I am having.
Please take it back to where it was before.2 inches short
Usability and security concerns.
For some reason, the JLA NVR and this app attempt to connect to the Chinese site “Baidu.com” every few minutes.
Would rather not have a supposed security system randomly going around opening connections on its own volition.
App-wise, updates have removed some functionality that older versions had, with no warning. An unpleasant surprise.
I get that this unit is a rebrand of something else, but did Speco have any oversight at all, other than what logo to put on it?Show lesse30m20
