You can now backup and restore your custom icons to your iCloud account. You have the option of only restoring the icons if needed.   Improved menu added to the Scene Status popup and the Device Control popup screens. Each has a menu option now that better indicates what your options are. You can add devices to your Apple Watch, insert devices into a custom room or custom scene from the menu. Scenes provide menu options to set the Time of Day modifiers for scene execution rules. Several improvements for overall performance and robustness of the app. User interface fixes to support the new iPhone 14 models.

This version includes all of the following from our 6.1 release as well as a bug fix for a background refresh issue. Stay tuned for our next version which will bring even more improvements and features to zHome Plus! An enhancement to zHome Watch introduced in 6.0 enables you to add selected devices now and a new utility on your iPhone allows you to set the display order of the devices and scenes on your Apple Watch. You will see a watch icon on the device status and control screens and can toggle whether the scene or device will be loaded to your watch. This allows you to quickly assign scenes or devices to the watch easily via the custom scene status popup or the device control popup screens when you long press on either of them wherever you are in the app. iCloud backup has been improved and now you have the ability to add a text label describing each of your backups when you view them via the iCloudBackup under settings. This makes it easy to identify specific backups you might want to restore to one of your devices. Note that in 6.1 an iCloud restore of data will replace any existing configuration that you have on your device with the same name. It's not a update to an existing one bringing back something you may have deleted.. It will restore your individual configurations that you had when you made the backup to iCloud. It doers not erase any configurations you may have created since then that are NOT contained in the iCloud backup. A new utility feature enables you to replicate a configuration profile and this will clone all setting with the exception of the Geo-fences. This feature is designed to enhance usability and workflow to setup multiple configuration for you, your family or if you have multiple system. This combined with the changes to the Transfer setting allow selected transfer of the active configuration profile between devices... Now when you enter Transfer Settings you have the option of whether you will include VPN or GeoFence information in any transfer from this device. You must specifically include them to have them used in a transfer from this device to another. The Transfer will only transfer the active configuration profile that your device is using. We have strived to improve the reliability, useability, stability whilst delivering enhanced features in this version of zHome Plus. zHome Plus Version 6.0 brings support for Apple Watch. In this version you can flag your custom scenes on your iPhone to have them loaded to your watch where you can then perform a custom scene direct from your watch. This requires that you have configured your HomeSeer System to support SSL connections. In addition to Apple Watch support this version brings many bug fixes and MAJOR stability enhancements as we have updated to use the latest concurrency features provided in iOS 15. This version will require iOS 15 and above. Apple watchOS supported version is 8.5 and above.

New custom control for lights using the JowiHue or HomeSeer Philips Hue plug in on your HomeSeer system. Now we use the Apple Color Controller to present you the options to set colors for your Hue lights.

Now you can set modifiers on your custom scenes so they will execute based on options you select. You can set what days of the week a scene will execute, what times of the day that it is said for a scene to run, or if the scene is only to execute when it is either dark or daylight. In our Solar Scene Setup you can set your location for determining sunrise / sunset values and you have a choice of what type of solar time to use, Official, Civil, Nautical, or Astronomical for determine if its daylight or dark. Also some bug fixes and performance improvements. Also a new control popup for lights that are controlled with the JowiHue plug in interface on your HomeSeer system.

This update brings some major changes to the Custom Scenes and also brings Geo Fencing capability to ZHome Plus. With this version you can now create a custom scene and set it's values without it actually controlling the devices involved during the scene creation. So you can create a scene at 3 AM if so desired and not causing the actual devices to immediately adopt the scene values you have selected. The Geo Fencing brings some new things to the system that you must authorize. In order for Geo Fencing to work you must grant ZHome Plus permissions to access your location. The first time you run this version you will be prompted to authorize this and you should select "Allow While Using App". Later on Apple will prompt you at some point and it may not be while even running ZHome Plus that the app would like to access your location always. This is what you must authorize in order for geo fencing to continue to work. They do this to make sure you are aware of what apps are monitoring your locations. We do not collect any data in our app, nor share any data with any one. Your data and your location are yours and we only utilize this to allow for the Geo Fencing to work.

Fixes for slider controls in Classic interface style.   Custom Rooms will now be added at the end of the rooms but can still be reordered to anyplace in the list of rooms and custom rooms in zHome Plus.  Other miscellaneous fixes and some performance tweaks. Custom scenes changed to not allow calling HomeSeer events from within a zHome custom scene to preclude any issues as we have no method to validate what is contained in a HomeSeer event, which can lead to recursion issues between the events and your custom built scene in zHome Plus.

zHome Plus now has the ability to create custom scenes. These are simple scene types where you can control multiple devices in your home in a logical single scene. You can assign a custom scene to any room in your system, including any custom rooms you created with zHome. You can copy a custom scene or rename it later if you wish. It's easy to create a scene that you want to turn several lights on and then copy that and edit the copied scene so that it reflects turning all the same devices off. You don't have to remember which devices you put into the original scene. When you execute a custom scene in zHome Plus it will indicate to you if all the devices have responded back with the correct settings by turning the border around the custom scene green. You also have the option to just double tap on a custom scene and you will get a poup window showing you the devices that you set in this scene, what their current vales are and what value the scene will request them to change to. There is a button right there on the popup window showing this information to perform this scene. If you perform it you can see there what the lights or other devices have changed to after the scene was performed. Please note that when using the custom scene editor that it is showing the devices So if you are creating a custom scene and are seeing the devices in the scene to settings such as dim levels or off and on, that this will in fact be changing those actual lights to those values. It is a dynamic scene editor and will reflect the state of the lights and devices in your system. If you enter the scene editor and the devices in that scene are not currently set to the values you originally had it will ask you if you want to change the devices to match the scene values you previously set. Currently if you say no, then it will leave the devices in the state they are currently in and when you exit the editor the scene will now reflect those values. We will be adding an option to not change the devices in the scene to the scene's requested values and upon exit of the scene editor it will not change the original values for the scene. This is an initial release of our custom scene implementation and we will be looking for feedback on how we can enhance this and make it work better for our users. Also new in this release is a search feature available to you from any screen. You can search for the device you want to control from anywhere. The search is also implemented inside the custom room and custom scene editors to allow you to quickly locate the device you was to add to your custom room or scene. zHome Plus offers you a classic or tiled interface for your iPad or macOS device as well as a Combo interface that melds the other two styles into one. Create a custom room and you can control the order the devices are shown in that room and insert blank spaces between them.
