Honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played. It’s so addictive, and I love that’s it’s challenging so you never get bored. Unlocking the packs for new items keeps you coming back and gives you the ability to show personality in your character, challenge mode keeps it fresh and is a good way to earn bucks for those upgrades. You also don’t have any of that 5 lives that recharge every hour or so like some titles, which allows you to play endlessly and not have to pay money for extra chances when you’re on a long train journey etc. Once you hit a certain level it becomes quite hard to gain XP due to the amount of in game currency needed, but That just makes it all the sweeter when you do. Regular updates of new levels, challenge modes etc keep coming too. Ive been consistently playing this on a daily basis for months now, all because it was casually referenced by griffin mcelroy in a podcast. Download this game right now and you’ll never look back.

  • Becoming the golf star

I have played every super stickman golf game and this spin-off is amazing. First reason is that it’s super stickman golf but feels like multiplayer. In my opinion the older games didn’t feel like you were playing live because you could just phase through the other players and you needed Game Center to find people which was dumb but now when someone’s ball it actually moves both balls and you can message emotes and words to other players. It’s those small details that make a difference. Reason 2 it’s easier unlock stuff in the super stickman golf 2 and 3 they had packets but in this game it’s easier because their are different types of packs and there are even a lot of other power ups. Now here’s what sets it back from 5 stars. I haven’t found a way to play with friends which is sad but who knows. That’s my only problem. But don’t let the friends thing set you back from playing this game. If you love online golf
Or like casual games this is for you.

  • Very good but just add...

Reporting, so many annoying players are being toxic, knocking me off the sticky goo multiple time (which obviously meant he did it on purpose) and using the emoji to make fun of newbies (like me 😰).
Also pls make it easier to get experience all you can do is get experience is by upgrading stuff and buying skins maybe you could make it so packs give you experience.

Not forcing you just some recommendations, if you read the whole thing THX

  • Mixed feelings

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game, but there are a few things soooo wrong that it's not funny. First off, you get nothing whatsoever for winning a game except trophies, which are useless. You NEED to make it that your xp bar fills up depending how good you do in a game

Second off, the matchmaking. I am a level 8, and am constantly being paired with level 18-19s, and is bad because the only way to level up is by having better stuff, and you getting better stuff by leveling up. Pl3ase base matchmaking on levels.

Thridly, having golfers and hats are just a sad excuse to try and make the player buy microtransactions, and are pointless except for leveling up

Overall, don't change a thing about the actual gameplay, but these other things seriously need a do-over.

  • They somehow managed to make the game worse

Not only do you still get matched against players 7-15 levels higher than you, those players get an elixir boost!

Just match me against players who are the same level, shouldn't be that hard to do.

If it's not fixed in the next update, I'm deleting. Save yourself the headache.
  • Overall Bad

Like many have said before, the game has a great concept, just executed badly. Golfing competition more fast paced than SSG3. I like it but one aspect ruins it. Ball contact. Many a time I was about to win a round when I get knocked out of place by another player. Yes I have done it to other players but never intentionally.

Then of course, there is the usual ‘monetization screws up progress’ issues. I hit the pay-wall at level 8 and the rate at which you earn card packs is insanely slow. The card packs never give a useful amount of money or jewels. TIP: Do NOT use money/jewels on cosmetic items! Use them for power ups and card packs ONLY. On top of all that, the card packs have ridiculous wait times! Not the worst I’ve seen in the mobile game but still pretty bad. So I don’t see the point in playing a game where I am basically restricted to playing two matches the day because if I play anymore, I don’t get anything for it.

Another fatal flaw is that who you play against is based on trophies and not their level. I’ve seen people at level 10 get matched up with players at level 34! And, of course, the level 34 player dominates the match! But of course, this is done on purpose to make the low level player accelerate leveling by spending money. What a scam!

  • Not what it’s supposed to do

I was at 706 trophies right? Took a long time to get there, then next round I got placed with people with over 850 trophies and guess what...I lost. And so then I was like “oh well I can win them back” played again at 668 trophies and was against people with over 750 trophies...and lost. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

    Developer Response

Hey Banessa, a trophy difference of around 100 is pretty typical and that means that people you're playing with might have only played a few more games than you. We hope you'll give the game another shot.
  • Pretty good, just some problems

This game is pretty addictive, it definitely fills the same void of time that other mobile games do. The ability to improve stats is pretty interesting and incredibly satisfying.

However, there is an issue with certain level designs conflicting with the matchmaking system. In Golf Blitz you are matched up with people based on your trophy count regardless of golfer level. Most of the time it doesn’t matter, they just swing slightly faster. But some levels don’t require precision or accuracy or strategy. It merely depends on whose ball can go the furthest, or who has the shortest cool down between strokes. It ruins the competitive atmosphere and really ruins the experience in total.

Finally, ball collision, it is an issue when shooting at the end and you cannot go above other balls—which is complete garbage—and are forced to be in last place if the people further ahead than you are worse than you. It is also an issue when you are stuck beneath somebody with a poor connection, and so a forced into last by an annoying mechanic. It is only a problem in one other scenario, when a ball hits one stick to purple goo, the stuck ball becomes unstuck, which is completely infuriating and feels like sabotage and again, ruins the experience.

Overall the game is good, not great—as it could be—but it is addicting. But the negative elements are truly crippling and could use some minor touch ups to make this game great.

  • Fun, but just another pay to win to freemium

Game is pretty fun with the exception of the matching system. It’s based solely on how many trophies you have and not at all on your level. Meaning that if you start doing good, you’ll just be thrown into a game with with other players who are twice your level. They’re power, accuracy, and cool down are double what you’re currently at. I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s a major flaw. So be prepared to be extremely frustrated as you’ll be in a consistent back and forth of losing and gaining trophies. And of course how do you level up? Not by winning games, but by unlocking gear. And how does one unlock gear at a pace that isn’t excruciatingly slow? You guessed it, buying packs and pumping money into the game. In short, it’s just another pay to win to freemium that uses luck and frustration against you by setting up system to do so.

The game itself would be pretty great if it wasn’t for the leveling up and matching systems but I guess you can’t blame the devs. It’s sadly just where we are with gaming these days and honestly, who wouldn’t hop on the gravy train if you had the choice? I just wished there were some games out there like this that charged an upfront price and actually left some of the games integrity in tact.

  • Maps and Matchmaking

When I play Golf Blitz I wanna play on the maps that I unlock. I can’t do this though because as you get to higher levels it’s harder to find people the same level as you and even they are you rarely get to play on the map that you wanna get a chance to play on. But, when you do get a chance to play on that map you don’t know what to do or what’s the fastest route to get you that win while everyone else does know. I think that you should be able to at least practice on a map if you want to so at least if that map does come up in a match, you have as much of a chance to win as everyone else. I know this is a really big project but if not that then at least tweak your map picking cause it is really not that balanced. Thank you for (possibly) listening to this suggestion, from a dedicated gamer.
