  • Missing basic functions

    As a sports parent, this app is missing basic functions like having jersey # with kids on roster, Kidd’s roster in alpha order, once you give green light to a game (say yes you are available) you have to keep going into each game to know which one you said yes to. You can’t tell which games you have already said yes or no by looking at the schedule at a glance. If there are multiple games, each time you exit, it takes you to the top. It is NOT user friendly for parents. Coaches have to email to tell you which uniform to wear because there isn’t a spot to put in the app. It’s a mess! Not one of the team parents is a fan.

    Thanks for the feedback! We are happy to report that (almost) all of your requests are supported in our mobile app: 1) Jersey numbers are shown in the roster if they have been supplied. You may need to check with your club to ensure that the proper permissions are in place to supply the numbers. Some clubs restrict this access to team staff and/or club administrators. 2) If you access the player-specific schedule by tapping your player at the bottom of the home page, then you can see and modify the player's attendance response directly on the list of events. 3) That schedule will remain on the previous view when exiting from event details. 4) The app supports event notes for coaches and managers to specify details about uniform, etc. These notes will be available in our calendar feeds as well as the app when they are supplied. Again, your club may have configured particular permissions for who may supply such notes. 5) We don't currently have roster ordering by name. (Normally it's ordered by number.) We'll look into adding that!
  • Its a good app but for co parents it’s challenging

    It’s challenging to have Byga app when coparenting. Usually other app like gamechanger each parent and non legal parent can rsvp the player if they are attending without giving them full access to the account. Especially when the non legal parent is the one managing the account. Other than app is ok

    Thanks for the feedback. I would note that there are permission settings the club could modify and it might make sense to ask them. We will review the options we provide if more granular control is possible.
  • Worst Sports App by Far

    Three kids, half a dozen different sports and many platforms later, and BYGA is BY FAR the worst. Glitchy, laggy, OFTEN completely unavailable. Not user friendly or intuitive on any level. Makes me wonder how much of our league fees we pay go to this “service” for what an absolute fail it is. Not impressed. Two years of struggling with this is nonsensical for our league and families.

    Please accept our apology. We know families, teams, and clubs depend on Byga and we take that responsibility seriously. We have been growing rapidly, and planned for and implemented additional server resources to meet anticipated player growth. Nonetheless, we experienced a particularly high demand period, and made the game time decision to adjust/add further to ensure the sufficient resources for the day (and forward). The adjustment required a chat maintenance period which you experienced. We will be monitoring closely and be more proactive in anticipating growth in order to avoid even a short service impact.
  • Great Platform

    Love Byga! So easy to see your kid’s team schedule especially when you have multiple kids in one club. Easy to know when and where I need to be!

    Thanks for the feedback. We think having a full schedule for all your kids but also the option of seeing each kid's schedule or each team's schedule is also important.

  • Updates

    I previously wrote a review requesting the ability to emote and Lo and behold, they addressed and updated not long after. Talk about responsiveness.

    I am now hoping for another update since the development team here is amazing.

    I would like to request the ability to put a “maybe” as an option for game and event availability. There are times where a no doesn’t suffice and it would be useful. Please developers answer this request and all will be perfect! :)

We have included chat reactions, search, organized live game Teamcasts, custom chat covers, made chat more accessible from the events, and more. Hope you enjoy the app and the new features and get a chance to update your review once you have used the app for a while. Followup: while we pride ourselves on building what our users want, unfortunately the "maybe" option is a sticky issue. Coaches have begged us *not* to provide a "maybe" option for availability. (We're looking into ways to allow the option only for those clubs/teams who want it.)
  • Please add the ability to emote in chat

    Between my two kids I've used several different team apps over the years. My sons soccer team switched to BYGA and a lot of things seem on par with other organizational platforms (calendar, confirming availability, messaging etc) But the two things that are driving me crazy are the tiny font in the chat and the inability to emote. I hadn't realized how useful putting a thumbs up or down on a team poll/question is until now. Having to message an answer and receiving a notification for every response is ridiculous. Emoting is simple and on every messenger platform. Please add this feature. It would be used daily for my sons team. They're always asking questions or like "Thumbs up if you ordered uniforms" or "Thumbs up if you received this message" and it would be better if we could emote a thumbs up instead of having to send a message. I read through reviews and saw several others asking for this feature and when developers responded they addressed all the other issues EXCEPT this.

    Can my availability populate on the schedule section, main calendar tab? I have multiple children and rsvp status populates under their name and individual team section which is great. I wish it would show my RSVP on main calendar as well opposed to just going into their team section only.
  • BYGA is great, but Chat glitches for me.

    So we use BYGA for our club soccer organization. Overall fantastic But… I keep getting annoying glitch on my iPhone. I can view the chats and type in the box, but not send. The send arrow stay gray and does not work. Sometimes it works just fine other times it won’t work at all. I think it might related to updates on the phone.

  • Want to love it

    I am a mom with a very active teen, I am on 3 different platforms for team management. I have no issues getting alerts from the other apps, but with the BYGA app it is hit or miss. I am pretty savvy with electronics so I do not believe it is user error. I miss a lot of realtors time message that a valuable to my athlete. Please fix this bug!
