Literally stays connected to wifi for 5 seconds, such an expensive camera and doesn’t stay connected to wifi, not only that it just is trash, was gonna return it but times r crazy now and wasn’t thinking about this garbage camera , free apps can do what this does....RemzRocka
Don’t buy product for Boating
You need a reliable live feed when boating. Unfortunately this product is not it. App drops camera feed and forces you to reconnect. Not ideal when reliability is key when on the water and you spend $400 for a product that won’t keep you safe.

Doesn’t stay connected
This is a horrible app, I hope my buddy doesn’t buy this for his boat. This app will not stay connected to the camera. Too bad, had high hopes for using for more applications. Will not recommend SiOnyx based on use with app.Willie Sikorsky
Frequently Disconnects
As a private investigator I thought this would be a spectacular tool / app combo. Following directions and disconnecting from Bluetooth does nothing. App won’t stay connected longer than thirty seconds. Device is pretty good, but the app is crap. (Sionyx Pro)Columbiasleuth
Horrible connectivity issues
While impressed with device itself I cannot say the same for the app. The app and or camera will disconnect while trying to upload a video to both my iPad and iPhone. Making things worse I’ll go back to restart the process over and it will not let me. A message pops up telling me the video has been uploaded already while it’s nowhere to be found .I paid around $720 for the SiOnyx Aurora Sport and for that money the App should work without these types of issues.Show lessbrando-nyny

App is unusable
Unfortunately it’s very laggy and disconnects frequently making it unusable and unsafe for boating. Good thing for spotlights.

Frequent disconnects, SLOW
Phone connects to the camera easily enough. Turn off Bluetooth via settings, connect to camera WiFi.
Live view is slow, very slow frame rate.
However what really bugs me- want to download a video from the camera to phone? Forget about it. 3 minute video takes 5 minutes to download. Suspect dial up connection might be faster...
Camera doesn’t show up when plugged into the iPhone worth the camera connection dock, or on the iPad Pro e we otherwise straight USB connection.
