Immitate different musical instruments by dividing the octaves into alternate musical scales. Change the sound by selecting alternate waveforms for the Xalophone's oscillators. In addition to the classic sine wave, you can select triangle and square wave shapes to make different synth sounds. Improved visualization allows you to see the notes light up as you play them.

New and improved playback functionality allows you to perfectly play back your xalophonic session, even as you lay down new beats and sound-swipes. Set up a back beat, loop it by hard pressing on the infinity button, and then compose your xalophonic symphony. Bug fixes in playback. Please note that all previous recordings will be rendered with the improved playback, so this version improves playback of xalophonic sessions recorded with all previous versions of Xalophone.

New looper feature on main screen! Tap the infinity symbol to loop the last sequence of sounds you made. Hold it down to repeat. Press it with force to set continuous repeat mode and make it repeat forever. Press hard again to go back. Tapping a new sequence clears the old pattern, but everything is saved and accessible from the lunar playback view.

Xalophone is a digital musical instrument that's easy to play while doing other activities. It features a configurable sound effects pipeline for customizing its sound to your mood and situation. 21 preset configurations mimic natural and synthetic instruments, but that's only the beginning: you can edit these presets or create new ones to generate a wide variety of sound styles. Auto-save and instant playback allows you to replay any tune you create with Xalophone. Plus high fidelity file export for easily sharing your music with friends and colleagues.
