Almost Perfect

This app is perfect for everything. I use it for notes, to-do lists, school, and work. I prefer it over any other Notes or Planner app. However, I haven’t been using it as much lately because I am constantly switching from my iPhone to my MacBook and I need something that is integrated through both. Is there a possibility that a compatible MacOS app will be developed?

Hi! Thanks a lot for your feedback! At the moment there're no plans regarding the macOS app, but we're working on the Web app and planning to release it soon.

Just Right!

This notebook app is perfect. It gives you just the right amount of options without overloading and bloating the experience. This app can serve a lot of different purposes if you want it to. Can’t wait to see what they do next with it!

Better than Evernote’s and OneNote’s mobile app.

I started testing out Unit as a substitute for Evernote’s app and was pleasantly surprised by the intuitive controls and shortcuts to create deeply nested outlines. It’s akin to a messaging platform for your thoughts and ideas. Unlike OneNote and Evernote, Unit doesn’t clutter the workspace with too many features that can bloat the app into an intractable information pool or self constructed, self-contained wiki. Unit seems focused on developing and designing a simple but powerful notebook.

Just Great

Tried and paid for multiple 'Note' Apps, this is the best...

Excellent.

These new building block apps like Notion and Coda are becoming super popular. The problem is those apps are web and desktop first and don’t make great apps.

Enter Unit Notes. It’s similar in nature to these services but is mobile first with a true offline mode. I’m becoming super hooked on this app. I hope it sticks around.

Legendary app

OMG! I have been dreamed about the app like this for a very long time!
I’ve never written any review but I need to say something here.
Stunning design, amazing organizational features, awesome drag&drop, reminders, passcode and a lot of other things.

From my perspective it’s much better than native Notes app and Notion for iOS combined.

Kudos to the developer.

They keep on surprising me!!!

Update: 1/09/20- Unit keeps on getting better and better! I am absolutely in love with the new look and update. It really feels like a professional note app. This app is so unique compared to others in this field. Thank you Devs for all the hard work and the amazing improvements that keep coming!

I can’t believe this is still such a new app because it is such an awesome app. There are so many ways you can use this app. I love the concepts of units. They are super handy and you can do some really intricate organization with them! Love love love it! Can’t wait for future updates, on top of an already solid app.. it’s going to be epic!

Evernote replacement?

With my subscription to Evernote expiring soon I’m definitely looking for a replacement. Is this it? Sadly, not quite. Firstly, it’s almost the same subscription price. Secondly, there is no topic linking, or text formatting.

It’s definitely a great app, but without those two features it’s not worth the money—for me.

Response from developer

Hi! Thanks a lot for your feedback! I agree, Unit for sure has less abilities than Evernote. Partially because we have a different concept and partially because we just didn't have enough time to develop all the features we want. Regarding topic linking and text formatting: we're planning to add both features in early 2020. Please let us know if you have any other feedback: email us support@unit.ms or send a message via in-app chat.

Subscription overload

I’m unable to review the software itself because too many business models now support the subscription as a means to keep the money flowing.
Like many people I have reached the maximum number of subscriptions.

Response from developer

Hi! As far as I understand, the only problem you have is a subscription payment for Unit Plus. Let me share our thoughts on this. Please also let us know if you have any other problems with Unit. We'll try to address them as soon as possible. Honestly, we don't know what is the best way to charge users for app usage. All we want to do is to be able to pay our bills, keep Unit alive as a product and make it better. We don't have any investors, all the money we have is coming from our users. The subscription model is good for us (and probably for everybody else) because it gives very predictable money income and allows us to plan our spendings and next feature releases. The main downside of the subscription model is that users usually want to pay once for the app. As I said before, we don't know what monetization model will work best for us and our users, and most probably we'll try other models as well. We just didn't have enough time yet to test them. At the same time, we're always open to our users, open for discussions and always trying to make things better. You can always reach out to our team via in-app chat or email support@unit.ms.
