Manny the best app

This app is truly fantastic for anyone looking to stay motivated while building healthy hydration habits! The concept is both simple and effective: every time I drink water, my virtual plant grows. It’s such a creative way to remind me to stay hydrated throughout the day, and seeing my plant thrive gives me a sense of accomplishment. The app’s design is user-friendly and visually appealing, which makes tracking my water intake easy and enjoyable. I love the small rewards and animations that encourage me to reach my daily goals. The connection between real-life actions and a virtual outcome adds a fun, gamified element that keeps me engaged and committed. What sets this app apart from other hydration trackers is how it makes the process feel rewarding. Drinking water isn’t just a checklist item anymore—it’s something I look forward to doing because I know it helps my plant flourish. The app has genuinely made a positive impact on my daily routine and my overall well-being. Highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to build better hydration habits while having fun doing it!

Good idea, too many pop ups interrupt the flow

It’s a nice idea, and works successfully in other apps I think, but I found there were too many interruptions before I could actually mark off the water consumption that eventually I wanted to stop using it, it actually disincentivised me from going into the app because it started to get annoying. First a splash/loading screen, then a delay before you can press the button, then a pop up telling you it’s your first water of the day - just too much extra slow downs to being able to get in and keep track. You might say just have some patience, but it’s these little inconveniences that add up to psychological barriers to actually wanting to use the app; it’s not great UX Design. Finch does it way better imo.

Fun game👍🏻👍🏻

So I started using this app a few days ago and it is soo good you must get it and the flowers you can grow are SOOOO cute and you can change your flower pot and I love this app but the only complaint I have well it’s not even i complaint it’s just something I want to say is maybe the water seems like too much sometimes but I don’t know it’s just what I think buttt anyway that’s all I have GET THIS APPP

Amazing just one suggestion ( you don’t have to do this)

The app has potential it reminds you every hour to drink. It has a limit to your drinking which you can analyse but I feel like it would be cool if they did something with how much you walked For example, if I did enough walking I can get this much clovers. This not only would tell the person to drink but also exercise while they are being hydrated. It would give the person a goal of they want more clovers or gifts! Although other than that I would rate it 4 stars personally so they can see the idea not that the app is not good. Otherwise you did a great job!😊

Even using it “Free” is great!

I genuinely really love this app. I unfortunately don’t have the money to subscribe (even though I would if I could to support this app) — even so, the free version is fantastic and I don’t feel limited. You have plenty of plants to choose from at the different levels AND the variants of those plants (think of like a shiny pokemon) AND the plants you’ll get from moving through the different levels by completing hydration feats, reading small articles (scrolling through them), or growing plants.

I really can’t recommend this app enough. Our journeys to better health aren’t linear and because of that I even stopped using this app for a few months straight. Now I’m back after being diagnosed with PCOS and needing yo really monitor everything I do. This app has made it so fun, even in a crappy circumstance, and I’m so proud to be able to water my plant every day and knowing I’m not just taking care of my plant, but myself as well. I hope in the future I can subscribe to give back some love to the developers. Thank you for everything!!

it’s pretty good for hydration

(edit: My initial review was better because at the time the demands for getting a subscription were annoying but i could deal with them, but ever since i rated it the pop ups have been almost nonstop, every time i open the app or do really anything and i am on the verge of quitting the app because i can’t take it. very disappointing and deeply counterproductive because in the pursuit of getting me to subscribe the developers lost a customer entirely.)
i’m pretty spacey and struggle to drink enough on a regular basis and this app helps with that. sometimes taking care of myself i.e. drinking enough doesn’t feel worth it motivation wise, but doing it for the benefit of a cute plant makes it feel worthwhile. the downside to this is that when i have an off day because of depression or something the guilt of not taking care of my plant just adds on to the guilt of being in a slump and not getting anything done. this is why i’ve used this app on and off for years because sometimes the guilt of seeing my plant suffering makes me avoid the app entirely. I also don’t enjoy how many payed features they’ve added and how heavily they push them

Solid app for water reminders

Very solid app - I’ve struggled with drinking enough water for a long time and this has genuinely helped me.

I would only say that the free part of the app is relatively limited so you will need to pay to unlock most of the plants to grow.

Good fun though!

Great app! I definitely encourage getting this!

Don’t be fooled by the starting pack that you might see. It says you have to pay but you don’t there is a X and you can hit that. It’s just a starting pack. This app has also encouraged me to drink more water! I’m more hydrated and more motivated to drink water! You can also decorate your plant. You can also pick how much you want to drink!(Like a goal) I have a Stanley and my settings are picked to like 80 oz of water so I just have to drink two Stanley’s worth. If you think of how much oz’s ur water can hold it motivates you more to think, “hey I only have to drink this much.” Whenever I drink my Stanley I think of this app. I would def try this app! You need to get this. For those reading the reviews I hope you take this review as encouragement to get this app. It so great and it will change daily life and it will make you healthier by encouraging you to drink water. Get this app if you don’t have it already!!!

Characters are adorable, but…

I’ve downloaded this app previously, maybe about a year ago, and it worked wonders! I was so dehydrated that I got dizzy often, so my mom (who has had this app before) suggested it to me. I downloaded it and had it for at least 4 months. I deleted it because I was already on a roll of hydration and was no longer dizzy. Eventually, six months or so later, I downloaded it again because I was drinking only about 4 cups a day. It didn’t work at all. This is not the apps flaw, I just didn’t have the motivation to try to start a hydration diet. But, anyways, I just downloaded this app today again and I’ve already been drinking a bit more than usual, and it’s only been not even a half hour. I hope this works long-term and gives me the motivation to not only hydrate myself, but to hydrate my cute Cactus named Jake. Also the characters are ADORABLE. Just without the whole feature that it’s helping my body stay healthy, it’s worth the download just for the feature of the cute characters. Anyways, my point of giving it only 4 stars is I hope it lasts because sometimes it doesn’t work as well as I wanted it to 😊 - Best regards,

Drinking for my kidneys

I have always struggled to hit the recommended amount of daily water for struvite kidney stones recommended by my consultant. I wish I had found this app years ago. Now I’m consistently hitting 80% - 100% which is amazing for me as I’ve never drunk enough. The motivation of keeping a happy well watered plant turns out to be all the motivation I needed. If you struggle to take care of yourself, take care of a plant instead and in turn you’re taking care of yourself. Also I’m amazed the more you regularly drink, the more you want to drink, so don’t be put off if you struggle at the start, you can increase it gradually till you are up to speed. Great app. But too expensive to subscribe.
