Great Bible App!
Everything is very easy and user friendly. I like how you can bookmark and save verses; as well as share on social media, etc. This app has changed through the updates since I initially installed the app. I used to be able to just run the audio until I stopped it- now, it stops abruptly at the end of every "page" and they've added more add time, which can be very frustrating when you're deep in the Word of God. The advertisement are a distraction and annoying. I didn't get this app to be annoyed by them. Especially when they wont allow you to exit out of them. Shame on you. God’s word is not for marketing.Sunshine AJ
Ads - problematic ads
Edit: well I looked again and found the add free. Wish it was a one time fee. But it’s monthly or yearly. Yearly does save quite a bit of money. Moved my 2 star rating to 4, only 4 because the app creator needs to understand their audience and understand how bands the adds are to the Christian. It’s like going to the movie theater or a family safe movie and all the movie trailers before the feature are sexual, demonic or laced with profanity. Do better on choosing your add sponsors.
I’d honestly pay to have a non ad experience for this app. But as I have yet to find that option, the ads strongly reduce the experience on this app. It’s great for the go when I don’t have my physical book in front of me. But I struggle when ads are popping up all the time and those ads can be distracting or extremely worldly when you might be in the middle of studying. Ads are too long and distracting.
I love the Strong’s Concordance as a book, as an app... not so much. Often I have a book, chapter and verse in my mind and want to look it up, but by the time the ads are finished running, I have trouble remembering what it was exactly that I was trying to look up. I will be deleting this app and hopefully be replacing it with something more user friendly. I do not recommend this app for anyone serious about bible study.Show less623SMH
Inappropriate ads
I understand that ads can be the only way to stay afloat financially but I don’t believe you should be so passive and lax on your ads. Cartoon ads of project makeover has an ad of the girl only having a bra and underwear. Thankfully I am a woman but imagine being a man and trying to go read a verse for a good study and that ad popped up and now you are trying to not be affected by it. It’s objectifying women/ God’s creation as well. I will pray for your company to receive enough donors to not need ads and that if any future ads, they be godly. I pray you seek out modest and Christian companies to support. Maybe you won’t make as much but it’s better than being a stumbling block for some when your goal is the opposite. Geez! The ads!
Enough with the ads! They’ve become sooooo intrusive. Know your audience. Your studying scripture, you want to understand more deeply, so you open the Strong’s Concordance app, and BAM!! an 30 sec to one min ad to play some stupid game, or whatever your personalized ad is.
It’s a concordance, it doesn’t need updating. Charge me $5 and leave me alone, or at least don’t quench the Spirit.

Good but too many ads
I don’t use this app enough to have a paid subscription. I have an actual concordance in the house and can access a Strongs Concordance online when using my computer. But occasionally I may want to look something up on my phone when I’m out of the house somewhere. I have to wait for several ads to run their course before I can get into the app.Show lessTJ1239
Used to be good, now ads are out of control
This used to be a great app. Now the ads start and go on and on and on. There’s no way to stop them.
I understand the need for ads on free apps, but to have multiple ads that just drone on is unacceptable. I’m trying other apps and will delete this one.Steve9919
Ads used to be tolerable
The app is great and the free version was ok because the ads were easy to dismiss and you could get to the app right away. Recently (2023) the ads have become absolutely ridiculous. They are LONG VIDEOS that have to play to completion and then you still have to wait for the X to appear to dismiss it. I'm not being Strong-armed (get it? 😂) into paying for ad-free by this shameless tactic and am deleting the app.Show lessPaddlerkan
