Was previously not tied to a bunch of third party SDKs, and lately been seeing huge delays for this to start. A little investigation showed that google tag manager, google analytics, crashlytics, app-measurement, and mapbox events were all trying to phone home to the data brokers. This combined with the nag screens for paid services has made me decide to purchase a tempest device. Ambient - we purchase your hardware to provide you free weather data which you can use/sell elsewhere, stop trying to bleed every last cent from your customers by selling advertising data and silly subscriptions. It was refreshing when I was able to get off the money hungry spyware weatherunderground, unfortunately you’re making the same mistakes as they did.
