Cant prevent Leake

Paid for pro version. Tasting almost 10 different occasions (wifi to cell data to wifi) on 3 different iPhones X, 12, 14 pro and it kill switch didn't work, it let pass traffic which revealed the real IP address which kills the whole purpose of using this app. Sent logs to developer, he replied once after 1.5 months and later, no reply at all. If you purpose is to stay anonymous and relying on Kill switch, dont buy/user this app.

Brilliant, ability to set custom DNS is clutch

Beautifully designed, bug free and absolutely brilliant. You can set custom DNSes on your VPN within the app, so no need to fiddle with your iOS settings and you don't need to worry about using most of the gimped apps VPN providers put out there.

Very Difficult to remove

I tried this. Was not suitable for my needs so I tried to delete it. It refused to be deleted with errors about parts still being in use. Rebooted - no change. In the end I had to go to a terminal and delete the app directly and reboot.

Fantastic

This was a great app! Very easy to use and never an issue!

Excellent!

Between work and personal setups I was using OpenVPN, TunnelBlick, and a custom app from my VPN provider (I think it was an electron app 🤮). I was looking for a WireShark client for iOS and stumbled accross this. When I saw the capabilities I instantly paid the in app purchase for both iOS and macOS. Now I can seemlessly switch between work and personal VPNs in a single app. If you have to manage multiple VPNs I can't recommend this enough!

love this VPN app

I’ve used this app for quite some time, and I love it. By far my favourite VPN client app, it's handy to have all my VNPs under one app.

It is one of the best…

I went for both the iOS and Mac purchase. I was disappointed to find out it doesn’t allow for SOCKS configuration with WireGuard. Not sure why that has not been implemented. I hope it is soon. I’ll definitely use the ‘Tip’ in-app purchase for it. Additionally, while not a big deal for me personally, the server lists for the providers could really use some updating. While I am on the subject of “wish list” requests, the ability to edit the entire conf. file inside the app would be fantastic rather than having to edit outside and then import and setup a new connection in-app and apply preferences again. I’ve tried A LOT of VPN apps to use with my provider of choice though and this app falls in the top three. Big thanks to the developer for their time and dedication to working on it, especially since I am guessing it is a side-project.

Response from developer

Indeed, it is a side project, I wish I had more than my extra time to put into this. Your suggestions are duly noted, even though GitHub is a better place for tracking them. Cheers, Davide

Better than official wireguard app

The official wireguard app was having problems connecting every time. Switched to passepartout and the problem resolved instantly. Only gripe I have is I newly installed the app on my iPad, and the configs I had on my iPhone were automatically present on the iPad. Can’t connect both at the same time, as it is the same config. I wonder if I changed the config on iPad would it update to the phone and simple never allow both to connect simultaneously. For now, I just don’t connect both at the same time. I’m guessing it has to do with iCloud.

Response from developer

Yeah, that is kind of weird. You may disable iCloud sync in version 2.2.0 Cheers, Davide

Nowhere near as expected.

A ton of people recommended this as an alternative to specific vpn apps however I found it to be a mess. UI is sparse to the point of needing google to do anything, but the biggest offender is just not working reliably. The vpn often goes “inactive” with no warning or alert to the user, so you have to constantly check if the vpn is even active. Sometimes it just hangs in connecting forever other times it fails for no reason and no notification why giving the user zero ability to troubleshoot. This app is rough.

Perfect

Tried the new (V3) official OpenVPN client but it didn't work on my brand new M2 Max macbook. Connected fine but would not route the packets.

This one worked flawlessly with multiple connections -- Delighted - Just used the standard .ovpn connection files.
