  • To many issues in app

    App lacks easy to use features. Hard to get to the main menu while tracking. Its hard to go through unclassified miles throughout the month, doesn’t always show the correct miles throughout the day. Have to be careful when tracking miles low power mode completely disable tracking mode, this a issue if you press low power mode while driving, which is a loss of miles in the middle of the trip. Need a notification for any unclassified trips before submission. Dashboard icon is unusable once trackings. Pause button rarely ever pause trips so you are able to pause trip.

  • Bumpy roads

    Like all Bumpy roads, they smooth out as you go. Good app, good folks making it better.
  • Absolute garbage

    Was paid for 39 miles even though I drove well over 100 miles AND THE APP TRACKED THE MILEAGE but when I reached out to tech support, they want me to do their job for them by filling out a mileage report. What is the point of your garbage app if I have to do your job for you? Also, I can find no way to generate a mileage report if I wanted to see the miles driven within a certain date range. AND if I change the dates and try to scroll through my trips, I can only go down a few days before it completely refreshes and starts me over. What an absolute waste of time.

    Cardata you’re kinda ruining my life right now. You haven’t tracked anything right since your “big update”. You are burning up my phone with your background use, you track when your not supposed to, and then don’t track when I need you too. Only updated a million times, and you continue to fail me. I’d breakup with you if I could, but my company has chosen you to make my life sad right now. Please fix yourself!!! You have one job.

Please know that we take flawless trip tracking very seriously and are here to help you anytime via phone or email, we can't fix what we can't see. If needed, bugs will be escalate directly to engineering to be addressed in order to ensure everyone on the road with Cardata sees flawless trip tracking.
  • Update Broke the App

    This app and support is a joke. I have to manually start and stop every trip or I will not get credit for all my miles. Editing is a joke. Might as well go back to the days of pencil and pad and writing miles down and turning them in. Support will tell you on the phone that the app is a joke and its broke. They keep trying to patch what they broke with the update but it doesnt help. They tell me I can manually start and stop my trips so I ensure I get credit. Ummm, is that not what the app should be doing? Why we ever moved from an app like Motus that worked flawlessly for years to this junk that looks like it was written on a Commadore 64 is beyond me.

  • Terrible tracking app

    This app is mandated by my company to use and it’s terrible. Poorly designed user interface is laid out illogically and it misses tracking many trips even with background refresh and scheduling set up properly. For an app that is supposed to improve productivity, it takes more time to have to manually enter the trips the app missed tracking. Maybe T he CarData team could spend time as a user of this app to see what it’s like. Challenging.

  • Works great

    We have to use for work and I was hesitant. I didn’t like the idea of an app always tracking me. I switched off auto tracking and used the app and it was fine. I finally decided to turn on tracking and so glad I did. It is the easiest way to report business mileage. I worked but track any other way. They made a major update a few weeks back. Some minor issues and I repeated through the App Store to Cardata. They responded same day with helpful ideas and also admitted there was a glitch that was being addressed in an update, which it did help. Hearing back in a timely manner is more important than the function of the app itself. Thank you

  • Disaster

    This service is a complete Trainwreck, the Cardata app constantly crashes.
    I have to sometimes submit the miles over and over for it to register after I correct the location. It never remembers it just a terrible experience.
  • Easy to use

    The app is clean, straight forward and executes its purpose.

    A great tool for calculating vehicle reimbursement.
