  • Terrible

    Update…. 3/10

    In response to there comments…. I have been in constent communication with Cardata support , their developers and tech support. While the listened to my issues nothing ever corrected the issues. We switched to Motus and it has tracked me perfectly for the last 2 weeks. Cardata on a good day was 5% accurate. I literally spent an hour each days correcting my mileage and sending emails to Cardata about issues and cc my employer.

    DO NOT USE this app. Had it for 2 years and it was pure torture. You have to manually add 90% of your stops because it doesn’t track you. If even tracked a trip when I was asleep.

  • ITS SO BAD IT HAS TO BE A JOKE??

    I’m really curious as to why this company has struggled so bad to track mileage. The company I work for changed from Motus in December. They have had numerous releases with bug fixes. It still doesn’t work!! Your best bet to keep from losing money for driving your own car is to just manually enter your trips. We also use a tool called repsly which also tracks mileage so I use that to make sure I don’t lose any more money. I’m guessing the place I worked saved mi yes by switching but they really didn’t figure in that I spend about 2 hours a week now manually entering mileage which is 2 hours of productivity that the company is losing out on. Multiply that over many OPCOS and many sales reps and they really didn’t save any money? I’ve had multiple tickets to their support and you will get the reboot your phone, delete and reinstall the app lol.

  • Totally Worthless

    We had to start using this app to work and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. I drive on a lot of construction sites that require you to drive slow, the app sometimes works, and sometimes doesn’t. It leaves out large chunks of my trips so you have to manually adjust your mileage. It also seems to stop tracking when I’m on the phone for any length of time. It was so much easier when we just entered our mileage manually.

  • The absolute worst mileage tracking app

    If I could give negative stars, this app would get -3 which is 3 less than no stars at all. Thank goodness my company switches back to Motus in March. It simply does not work. If you can get it to operate long enough between spinning circles and crashing to manually input your stops, you might make a 10 hour work day turn into 15 hours of you want to get paid for driving. Avoid this company and app if you value your time and want to keep your sanity.

  • Works great!

    Updated review: After car data updated the app it has worked flawlessly. I haven’t had a single problem with it. I am very upset my company decided to go back with motus after all the hard work you guys did fixing it. Hopefully we come back!!

  • Will not work

    My review was deleted for some reason so here goes second try.

    App fails to start recording accurately, stops recording in the middle of a trip, will not record every trip,updates don’t seem to fix anything, sometimes it un categorizes trips so you have to double check the whole month. May as well use paper and pencil. I would give it negative stars because it takes so much time to accurately confirm all trips at the end of the month.

  • Horrible app

    This app has only cost me money!! You can check it to make sure it’s on and tracking your day when you start and by the end of the day it would have tracked may 2 or 3 stops and then shuts off. When you are working against the clock to get your job done you don’t have time to check this app constantly throughout your day and you most certainly shouldn’t have to add trips everyday when your work day has ended…it is a never ending problem with this app!!

  • Garbage

    I’ve had many mileage tracking apps for different positions for my job, this app is the absolute worst. Loading screen takes a good 2 minutes before you can get to the Home Screen. App consistently stops during trips. Then you have to re-enter your mileage on a very clunky manual system. When I was on Motus, which is a different mileage, tracking software, I had absolutely no issues ever. This app is very unreliable and cumbersome.

  • Doesn’t work.

    1. Doesn’t start recording correctly
    2. Misses complete trips
    3. Removes the business category after a trip has been selected so you have to triple check the trips are properly categorized
    4. If you add a trip, sometimes it will populate the same trip from its database a few days later causing double trips.
    5. They say they give updates but it actually stays the same in terms of working.
    6. Can’t manually start a trip and end a trip
    7. Stops and starts recording in the middle of a trip.
    8. All of this forces you to spend lots of time going through and making sure the trip data is accurate.

    Why any company would force their workers to use this app is beyond my understanding unless they are trying to aggravate their work force.

  • Simply doesn’t work

    My company recently switched to Cardata from MOTUS and I cannot begin to describe how terrible this app is. I used to have a schedule programmed for Cardata to track my activities but after a week of use I audited my trips…everything was off. It would record my first trip and stop after that. Ok I’ll turn it on manually. Guess what it may or may not track you. I traveled 173 miles yesterday and it didn’t record a single movement. Hey Cardata, you’re supposed to make our lives easier but if I have to go back and look up the addresses of all the places
    I visit in a day that isn’t easier. Get better!
