I’m so mad!!!
I never agreed to pay for this stupid app, I don’t even remember opening this app, i downloaded a handful to see what kinda videoing tools were available to me instead you hit me with some 20$ charge the day “after” it’s supposed to renew, these type of apps and apple are so predatory you just let anyone accidentally sign up for a “trial period” that they never even use nor do you remind them that is coming to the end of it before you charge their card. I keep my cards locked because of this, and you just kept repeatedly firing off at my debit card while I was sick for a few days after the renewal period and got a lucky shot in. Who cares about making an app people would want to pay to use when you can just get one over on a few thousand temporarily. This is garbage just like I’m sure your product is if you have to do this to make money for ItShow lessNot using this crap
Great app
It takes a little skill to get the most out of this app. That said it’s easy to use and has a diverse selection of effects. It’s one of the few app that always moves from phone to phone with an upgrade. I use it with stills and video too. I realized today that I had never given it a review despite it being a app I turn to when I want to glitch out. 5 stars and well deserved.
Some advice for any new users, play around with layering the effects as well as the changes that can be made to the effects. The flexibility can be overwhelming but you got it.Show lessBeleedad

This guy thought of amazing filter ideas, but the first thing I want to do is start normal, then edge into the surreal. There is a v e r y l o n g list of adjustments, and ‘blend’ I think is meant to adjust intensity. Of course, it’s easy for the designer to think, ‘oh, simple…you just go here and here and here and then you have a fader,’ but for the rest of us getting there is annoying. It has a somewhat intuitive enough layout, but wow, getting the right combination of controls is a bit silly. The number of parameters is overwhelming. I understand why he did it, saying to himself ‘simplifying is just taking stuff away, why do that?’ The central problem is understanding the language, what the parameter names actually mean and do.
If he did simplify it, he would sell more I think. And I would like to ask him layout questions.Show lessJed Fish Gould

One of the BEST GLITCH apps apart from being subscription free!!! I’m sick of app developers trying to milk an income from an app. If you have talent and create AWESOME content, opportunities will present themselves and your fans will follow you!! Making people subscribe to an app that doesn’t seriously benefit their lifestyle is more burden than benefit and reveals that the developer is spending more time feeding their greed than thinking of ways to improve their services or develop new products.

So many apps charge you in ordinate amount of money so you can get a “cool” aesthetic. Glitch studio isn’t about greed, they’re about the art. Insane amount of control. (i.e. And changing the order of effect layers, different blend modes, the ability to select an individual RGB channel for an effect). With the addition of animation (read: automation[which, admittedly, I haven’t used yet, but have high hopes]) this just brings it to a whole other level. My main go-to for all my FX needs. Pay the one time fee and go crazy. These people deserve your money for such a powerful tool as this.Show lesselstonngunn

There’s only one addition I’d make to it tho. I like working on multiple projects and I don’t finish them in one sitting. So I wish there was a way to save multiple works in progress more directly. You kinda can through custom presets. You just have to remember what image or video belonged to which preset. So I wish there was a way to ‘link’ a custom preset to a specific image you had in mind. Unless there’s a feature like this I have somehow totally missed this would be very useful.Show lesshantan10

I don’t understand the concept of pro version on apps especially when you can’t preview what you’re buying. You don’t just buy a car without test driving it first do you?… even a trial would work so the user can see if they like the effects before spending $10 on something that might not be worth that amount. It’s not rocket science, it’s good marketing. Overall impressed with what’s available even though it’s very limited and the rest is just food for thought. I give it 5*’s thoughShow less_network
glitch/bug problem + feature requests
Love the app but with the new update the slit scan effect is messing up I've noticed with Types 2, 6, 7 and 8 at certain intensity levels the photo has a black rectangle appear on it please fix thank you
- I have some requests for future updates, reading another review I saw they recommended adding in a place in the app where you can upload your saved presets and look at other's presets they upload and download theirs. I think that would be a great idea. Adding on to that I think it would be more intuitive to add a way to sort filters into a sort of folder/collection in the app for users like me who've spent a lot of time making presets on the app and have a lot of them. other than that I'd love more dissolve and dope type effects & the ability to have multiple sharpen, blur & blend layers.Show lessZombie Jombie

When i first downloaded this I thought it was another cheap bland filtering app who wants to leech off you with a monthly payment, but when i paid the $10 to BUY this.. wow. Mind was blown at the customization on the individual layers, something you’d get out of a desktop application, definitely the most advanced filter app I’ve used.
