Wonderful App but…
I found this App yesterday and I have to say it is exceptionally easy to use to score during the game but for one problem.
The rather dark grey screens provide a very low contrast that makes it difficult to see when on the greens in bright sunlight.
The ease in entering scoring is perfect. A simple tap on the column for the player/team allows and the pop up count buttons for rapid entry of the score for the end.
I am not personally interested in the Association subscription functions but I have told my club President about the app.
Again. The display contrast is the only problem.

I like it. Though there needs to be greater safeguard to avoid deleting the game simply by pressing delete, once. I suggest having a confirmation question asked by the system that asks you to confirm that you want to delete your scorecard.AdhocReviewer
Just What I Needed
This is a great app for keeping score and a record of the games you have played. It’s also useful for recording training session results for future reference.
I must give a lot of credit and thanks to the app developer James. There was an issue with the latest iOS version which upon an email sent to him he was on the case to fix it straight away!
This is a must have app for any bowler. It also offers some great functions for lawn bowls clubs to take advantage of. Definitely worth a download!Show lessGuynewnameneeded

Thank you very much for your amazing review. And thank you for your patience while I fixed the issue. Was a tricky one 😳. It isn’t until many clubs or match secretaries start to use this app the users will see the benefits, and how easy it is to create and find results from many different clubs and associations. Hopefully it can find its feet in Australia where the game is much more modernised than it is here in Scotland. As a part time developer I don’t have much time to add any features but I will definitely start spending more time on this app if it starts getting more use. Thanks again for your help. Our Club started bowling again under Bowls England Covid-19 guidelines so this app could have been a great way to avoid touching paper scorecards. However, I found it far too dark to use in the sunny conditions. Any chance of creating an option to have black on white background display (like this review is using)?Show lessCapabiltykev

Hi, thank you for taking time to use eScorecard. I created this app while learning iOS development, and haven’t added to it for a good 6 months as not many clubs have shown interest. Even associations and clubs in my own area. I have quite a few projects I am working on just now and I don’t really have spare time. So I will not be putting much more time into the app unless it has many more users. Thanks. JamesGreat app
