  • Can’t be downloaded to iPhone 5

My 9yo has my old iphone5 without a SIM card, so she can use it for music and apps. A mini tablet if you like. I’m sure this is true of many primary age kids. This is your target market. Advised by school to get this app, tried to download it to her phone- but It won’t as it needs iOS 11.4 or above to work. I phone5 stops at 10.3. Yes, she can use it on my phone, but she would practice a lot more if it were on her own phone. Oh and I paid 99p in order to find this out.

Hi Nelly, I’m currently looking into whether I can tweak the app to support older devices, as you’re right about the target market having more older devices. Hopefully I can do that soon!
  • Very good

I love the app and it is very good for learning times tables in an easy way.
  • Great app!

This is really helpful as my sats are coming up and I need that little bit extra in times tables!
  • Doesn’t work

    This app doesn’t even start.

Two devices seem to have had a bug with using ClassKit which stops them from loading the app – a fix is under review right now. I’m sorry to hear yours is one of them, and I hope you get to use the app with the update!
  • Great

Great app which is helping improve my son’s speed and recall of times tables and he is constantly trying to improve his score.
It’s also easy to get him to concentrate for the 5 minutes at a time! Mum of a 9 year old.
  • Good idea, needs polishing up

I like the varying formats, and countdown timer, but the app is a little weak in substance. It would be nice to have some kind of feedback after inputting an answer. Did I get it right or wrong? You can input a wrong answer, and there is no indication that you missed the question, it just gives you the next question. At the end, it tells you how many you got right, but not which ones you missed, which really isn’t that helpful for learning. It would also be nice to have some analytics/history to see your progress over time. There is no way to see how many times you’ve practiced, what you’re consistently missing, or if you’re improving. With some small additional features this would be a really solid app. I think an indicator for correct vs incorrect is an absolute most for this to be a useful app though. With that feature alone my rating would go up to maybe 3 or 4 stars.

Thanks for the excellently detailed feedback. This is a Version 1.0, and one of my top priorities for updates is making more immediate feedback of each question, so I’m glad that it is something you’d want. Keeping track of history will need more work though. You’re right that the right-and wrong indicator will be easier to set up first, so I shall prioritise that first. I’m also working on a detailed explanation section for each kind of question which would work into the feedback you suggest. So thank you! Version 1.1 Thanks to your encouragement I’ve added a ‘correct’ animation and listed incorrect questions for each question type on the feedback page. And I’m working on further improvements to feedback :)
  • Amazing app to improve fluency

What a great app, children in my class love it (year 6, U.K) really easy to use and I have seen an increased confidence as they genuinely get to grips with manipulating number doing arithmetical acrobatics. No annoying ads or pop ups just brilliant.
