App drops songs from imported playlists

I’m updating my original review. I was having trouble with songs dropping from the app but it has since been fixed. Jeff, the app developer reached out to me many months later to let me know that this has been addressed. I was never expecting this, and it says a lot about him and his commitment to quality and customer support. If only there was a way to adjust the pitch up or down a few cents that, to me, would complete the app. ———————————————- I was really attracted to this app for the features it had but after using it for an hour I’m really disappointed with it. The app keeps dropping songs imported from Apple play. I have uploaded a 9 song playlist several times in the past hour. The app keeps dropping the songs, and I have to delete the playlist and upload them again. This has happened 5 times in the past hour. This is very frustrating because I love the features of this app and hope you can get it fixed. I even upgraded to the ultimate version and still have issues. As is right now, I would not recommend this app.

Dcat, thanks for using Practice Player! We’ve indeed fixed a lot of issues. Even more recently with Apple Music. Hope you continue to use and enjoy the app.

Stability issues
1) I can import a song from my music but when I relaunch the app. it is unable to load that song. It keeps giving error asking to re-import
2)The app keeps crashing when I try to delete marked points.

Great app but tempo adjuster has stopped working?
Hi, As a violinist i love this app and have found it invaluable for learning and practicing orchestral repertoire. It’s so easy to navigate and saves so much time during practice sessions. Much to my dismay the tempo adjustment feature has just stopped working altogether and I can’t work out why. It was one of the features I used extensively so I’m posting this in the hope that you’ll be able to fix this. I use the app on both my iPhone 8 Plus and my iPad Pro and it’s not working on either. I would be so grateful if you could solve this problem as it’s a significant loss. Thanks again for such a beautifully designed app. Kind regards, E Young

Hey there! It’s been a while, and thanks for updating your review. I added backup and restore this year. It is in the main menu. I hope it works for you! If not please reach out with any issues via the send feedback link. The Apple Music problem unfortunately is something Apple has caused. It is broken in all of the competitor’s apps as well. I added the only workaround I could: If you re-import the song, its reference gets fixed! Its inconvenient, but the best I can do at the moment. I can only hope they fix it with iOS 18. Please don’t be a stranger and thanks for using Practice Player!
