Good but....
The app is great and allows you to plan your journey without missing any hidden gems.
For some reason I am unable to see all tours (even after ticking them all in settings) which means I am missing out on lists of low level walks etc...Sjw05675
Great app for everything NC500
I discovered this last year 2019, just before we headed off on our first NC500 tour. I’m so glad I did. It is marvellous and I used it both for planning ahead and on route. Brilliant app, particularly the map with web linksWont allow me to send teview
Not your usual travel app!
If you’re going to download a travel/tourism app for an excursion into the Highlands, this is the one to go for. Packed with crucial info about local attractions and services, there are also various themed routes you can follow (for example if you want to see lots of castles!) or you can create your journey around specific sites you’d like to see, which gives you more independence and can cater to your individual needs. The app highlights must-see locations, but also makes it easy to discover hidden gems and build them into your travels.
The thing that really sets it apart for me though is the audio content. The app is filled with local music, as well as folklore and stories which have been passed down through generations of people living and working along the NC500. We were really excited to do this famous route, and the audio channels made a long family car journey with 3 kids and a dog much more bearable! Will be going back next year!Show lessRachyMcG88
