Search feature needed
The one glaring issue for me is that there is no search feature. For the restaurant tab, if a restaurant im looking for starts with a letter later in the alphabet, I have to scroll for days to get down the page to determine if it's even listed in the app, sometimes to discover that it isn't. I think this one feature would massively improve user experience.
I've got a background in UX, so if the developers would like any help or insight, let me know.

This is pretty fair criticism to be honest. I don’t disagree at all that a built in search feature could be very helpful. We do the best we can but we are far from programmers! Having said that, we’d absolutely welcome any insight/help you may be able to give us. Please email us at admin@veggl.com. Thanks!
No Canadian Content even though on Canadian Store
This should not be available in the Canadian store due to lack of content. Very misleading.

Hello Smlangly, If you look at our first screenshot in the app store it specifically states that we cover locations in the United States. We have many people who travel who use VeggL while in the US so we do not try to limit where we are available. Having said that, we are adding Rogers Centre for this baseball season and will be adding NBA and NHL arenas for upcoming seasons.
Great app

Must have for airports
Happy cow is great in cities, but this one is a must have for venues.

Atrocious!

Hello, You can use all of our free tabs - restaurants, airports, sports venues and theme parks - for free. They include all our info for each guide. No need to pay for anything. The paid version simply removes all the ads. This info is clearly stated on the landing page of the app.
Great App!
Some of the reviews say it would be just as easy doing a google search. True to an extent. When it comes to McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Burger King, yes you can just look it up. Of course. But when it comes to locations such as the airports, theme parks, and more obscure restaurants, it could come in handy.
As much as I would love to pay for a premium version, I don’t think there is much of a reason to do so. You have everything you actually *need* in the free version. A couple of ads (which I don’t even notice) and slightly slower loading times aren’t really that stressful. I would suggest giving some sort of bigger incentive to pay for premium.

Hello Hans, Thank you for the kind words and we’re glad you’re finding the app helpful. We always want to make sure the free version is as helpful as possible without “hiding” info behind a paywall. If you’re happy with the free version, we’re great with that.
Perfection!
Bad mobile design and all paid

Hello Alexander, Sorry you were disappointed in the app. I just wanted to point out though that we do have a free tab for each of our categories - restaurants, airports, sports venues and theme parks.
Nice concept but where is the added value
Additionally the execution of the app stinks. Two words “User Experience”. The developers should learn about it.
Installed and deleted in one evening.

Hi there! We appreciate you taking the time to try out our app and hear you on what can be better for the user experience. We are a two person (wife and husband) team doing our best to help vegans find options at not only chain restaurants but in airports and in sports venues in the United States. We are still new to programming and as we get better, we hope the user experience gets better as well. As for being able to, “ask a few questions and be pleasant while doing it,“ we are happy you have found that to work. The reason VeggL was started was because I was constantly having to do google searches or call restaurants to know what their vegan options are; only to be met with inconsistent and even wrong information at times (plus it was time consuming and hard to do on the fly when relatives make last minute changes to where they want to eat). Even if you’re not a fan of the app, we hope the website can be a resource for you if you need it in the future. -Jen
