Typical govt it project
My son updated the app recently and is now no longer able to run it. Apparently it will not work without the latest iOS version so he iPhone 7 is no longer able to support it. We tried to download the old app version but are prevented from doing so. In addition make sure you are always driving in a mobile coverage area or your driving doesn’t count. The supervising driver can manually enter drives but they can only enter a total of 10. Too bad if like us you travel to remote areas where the kids phones don’t have service because none of the hours of drive time will count if you can’t access the app. There have also been times when a drive is started and the counter is running before putting the phone in the glove box only to arrive and find the timer has stopped and the drive not logged. How is it that a supervising driver and the learner can enter whatever they need to into a paper log book but we can not do the same in the app?? Sick of logging in
Do the developers take notice of any of this feedback??? We are ALL thoroughly sick of having to log in again and again (with our upper caps, lower caps, symbol, hieroglyph and blood of firstborn). And creating a numerical password each time. And confirming the numerical password. And still being logged out. It’s not even after a certain time period, or number of times accessed. We went for a couple of weeks one time; it is every couple of days at the moment. Only a drive each day at the most, but a drive most days. So not even based on lack of access.

No phones while driving 🤦♂️
Firstly the app logs out once every 2 weeks, so then your looking for passwords which adds “stress” what a potentially stressful experience for driver and teacher alike. Then once in you need to stop the app spam of “do you want notifications” which I don’t because if I did get them and click on the. I’d then be logged out and have to sign in…
The driver review is forced instead of optioned, for example a better system would allow a simple (good drive) option with more context if needed (weather conditions where harder than normal, driver navigated well or needs to improve in this area…) but you need to click through a list every time.
Some public feedback on this would be well received the app works well for the most part, but only when your not logged out on your smart phone which has pass word protection and Autherisation already to access.Show lesssirtimmy
The new update is horrible
These new recommendations as to what I should be doing when I drive is completely undermining and makes me hate this more than I already do.
I do not like driving as it is and only got my learners because of very pushy parents and friends. And now I have an app telling me I’m not ready to do things I’ve done but also didn’t want to.
It makes me doubt myself, and makes having to open the app feel like a horrible judgmental experience. Please either remove the feature, make it so it allows people to tick off things they’ve done instead of locking them at stage one, or allow me to disable it because the feature is trash.Show lessFait Honours
Better than the log book but does not remember login
Changed to 1 star, the app now INFORMS me that I will be logged out. This is nuts, not even banking apps log me out as long as I have a passcode set (which this app insists on) or Face ID enabled (which I have enabled).
The only upside is that the time when I no longer have to use this app is very soon.
I stand by my previous comments (include below) this app would receive a much higher rating if it were not for the constant annoyance of the logout issue.

This would get a much better rating from me if I did not have to login constantly. The login process requires you to set a passcode, and verify, then at random it will log you out and it is necessary to repeat the whole process again. What is the point of even asking for a passcode? As iOS apps go this is pretty much the worst I have encountered for the login part. The rest of the app works well, probably a 4 star if I could forget the login, Re login, login again and again... and again. Here is hoping this will be fixed soon, but I do not hold out much hope as I posted a similar review quite some time ago now and nothing has changed.Show lesskev12
Logging me and my learner out CONSTANTLY!!!!
My learner logs a drive -> I get logged out more often than not...
I have to go through the whole sign in process...

My learner has to go through the whole sign in process... OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! Do you get that this is INFURIATING???? Do some testing for crying out loud and FIX IT... for sanity’s sake PLEASE!!! (Make sure you try 2 iPhones on the same iCloud account but with different VicRoads accounts). At least do some logging of how often the app has to be logged into by the user after installation on a device.

Pause/résume button
While using the myLearners application I have not encountered any problems thus far. Implementing a pause/resume button would prove to be beneficial in many situations. For example, when needing to get out of the car for a short period of time for example, shopping, having a pause button will stop the driver from having to submit 2 different short drives. This would help out a lot and I personally believe that many people would love this new feature.Show lessAryaazad1234618
Need to fix bugs
This is app should be brilliant, it’s certainly convenient and generally easy to use. But I’m so sick of having to log in (with email and password) and create a pin all the time. It seems to accept facial recognition for a week or so then you have to start again. Unnecessarily frustrating. Also, it would be good if the supervisor could edit the drive before approving, often my daughter forgets to add parking or wet roads etc. but I can’t make alterations.Show lessblm166
FIX THIS (C-1000)
I've been using this app since late last year and have had this (C100) can't complete the request error come up on the screen multiple times, the most recent being this week. When this happens there is no way for me to get my hours approved and if I log out I am unable to log back in. I'm not sure how but a few months ago when this happened to me, by some miracle it allowed me to log into my other device but I had lost the 2-hour drive I did which was pending approval. THIS IS EXTREMELY INCONVIENT AND DISRUPTIVE!. I have seen multiple reviews on the this issue. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!Show lesszaitunalove
Good app but the logging out/logging out is an issue
I have been using this app since Feb and it’s much better than using a logbook. There’s a problem that occurs quite often for me is that whenever I’m done logging my drive and close the app then re-open it, it would log me out so I would have log back in and re-create my pin. Please fix this. Also you have announced a feature where the drivers can pause their time in the app earlier this year however I’m not seeing anything that relates to it, did you remove it or did something go wrong?Show lessTechnologyperson2014
