Simply the Best

This is simply the best language learning app. I’m a guy who appreciates a nice and clean aesthetic, and this app seems like it came from my wildest imaginations. Every time I open the app, I become excited to learn and feel fresh, not bogged down by unprofessional and “dirty” app interfaces. This app is truly amazing, and I’m so happy that I came across it. It also runs absolutely perfectly and stunningly smooth on my iPhone XS Max.

Thank you, iTranslate team, for making language learning fun, easy, and timeless.

Sincerely,
Matthew.

A nice learning program.

Lingo Is A really wonderful program for learning for learning to speak A language. The only problem is that when they test you. If you don’t speak the word exactly the same as the computer it is marked
wrong. Sometimes I can’t even understand the English words. For me it is like learning from a French Siri.

Progress

After the first two lessons I was able to identify the words quickly and with ease. I surprised myself. Can’t wait to learn more.

Too expensive

The app translates accurately 75% of the time. It needs a dialect/region option. I check translations by switching the to Spanish from English, to English from Spanish and the phrase typed is not the same when translated in reverse. It’s great if you need a quick look for a word in Spanish when working with someone who speaks no English but as a supervisor and with how expensive the app is, it should be 100% accurate all the time.

It is easy to navigate throughout, clear with precise instructions! I like it a lot.

User friendly, concise, easy to use, allows the user to learn the It is very easy itspelling and pronunciation of the words!

Voice quality & voice recognition need work

It’s quite hard to understand some of the words that are being spoken to you, both in English and French. The voice recognition is off too. The words I pronounced were extremely close and it should’ve detected what I was saying, it wasn’t even close.

Less than adequate

The German version is fine if you can say all you want with nouns and adjectives. The absence of verbs and conjunctions appears to be total. The odd phrase would also be welcome.
OK for a refresher, but not for learning conversation.

4 words

it’s good but it’s just remembering them I don’t know weather it’s my age or it’s just me that’s thick

Tweaks needed

Good app, in that it can be done in small bits of time, like waiting in a doctors office.
PLEASE make a Landscape adjustment for the iPad and iPhone! This is one of very very few programs that doesn’t auto-rotate from portait to Landscape.
Also, the speaker needs to more clearly enunciate when giving word translation responses. I listened 5 times, and vrucht was never audible.
Finally, as others note, please make a viewable wordlist for prior lessons, and
Please some appendix learning of usage, like we did in school with vocabulary words in a sentence, or phrase.
In Dutch, PLEASE include part of speech, and article of De v. Het; knowledge of those go together with each noun and must be memorized!

Lingo is a great learner program

Lingo’s easy goals and reminders keep a student on task, and its organization of key words and phrases is enjoyably diverse. However, the programmers would be wise to include an overall quiz assessment after every five or ten lessons, to maintain retention for the student.
