Wholly captivating, unique story
Gaurdian Maya has better dialogue than most choose your own adventures. The Maori cultural elements offer a new kind of world and warrior, which was exciting. One small annoyance that I hope is addressed in part 2 is that the options overlap the text (on an iPhone) so you have to scroll up and down to catch the last few words.FomiteX

Amazing! Only one concern
First off I hate to read but this had me hooked the entire time. It’s simply amazing. The only issue I have is when your choices pop up it blocks the story and it’s unable to read. Please try and remedy this before Chapter 2. Otherwise keep up the great work!!!TherealRenko
Compelling Characters
I’m usually not a fan of choose-your-own-adventure stories, but this one was fantastic. Maia is an immediately relatable protagonist. I really cared about her to the point of worrying about how each decision would affect her fate. Even the villain is interesting and sympathetic. The story so far is a bit of a hero’s journey with a Maori twist. Looking forward to the next installment.Doctor Rhythm

Issue with iPhone X.
So far it seems like an enjoyable story, but it’s almost too frustrating to play.
I’m not sure if the is an issue restricted to iPhone Xs or later, but the choice selections at the bottom of the screen cover up the text of the story. I cannot seem to find a way to avoid or fix this. It seems like a rather large oversight, and is quite irritating.WhySteamWhy?
