Can’t do anything and doesn’t work well
I never review any app, but this one just irked me so much. There’s not many songs you can play with out paying for the premium version. It often didn’t pick up notes when you played them and picked up notes when you didn’t play them. The tuner isn’t very good. When I was on the tuner and tried to pick a low E, my phone started emitting a high pitched whining note which I originally thought was from my amp. It only stopped when I closed the app. Save your time and don’t download.

Didn’t hear
The app could never hear the notes I was playing even though I was playing them loud enough for every other app to hear. I was having a whole bunch of glitches when I first downloaded the app. This app was not helpful at all unless you like to get frustrated because they don’t give you credit for playing the right strings.

Suggestion
Okay, so I’m an acoustic player and the app doesn’t register the notes I hit, because you guys have the whole song playing at the same time. There should be an option to turn down the sound of the song we’re following, so it can hear us. Thanks guys.

Keeps crashing
It keeps crashing on my iPad mini AND my iPhone X. I’ve reinstalled on both and same thing on tutorial, part 3 open strings. I’ve completed it like 9 times and it crashed either during or at the end where the question flashes and crashes. I won’t want to keep this past the trial if I can’t utilize it to learn how to play. I’ll go with something more expensive as long as it keeps me learning and playing.

Headset & other issues
1) Other apps play to my headset but this app refuses to do so.
2) No facility in the app to contact the developer re these issues.
3) No facility to search the database for a specific song, artist, genre, etc
It’s a lot of money to pay for a beta version & I’m surprised when it is associated with the very polished ‘Ultimate Guitar’.

Glitches in beginners course
When you go into the beginners course you watch the first video but then it stops and you can’t go further or back for that matter. You have to quit the app and reload. Sections 2-4 and the test won’t load
