Description of HockeyFit
The Hockey Fans In Training (Hockey FIT) mobile application is designed to support registered participants throughout the duration of the Hockey FIT program. The app includes a Hockey FIT team calendar to provide dates and times of Hockey FIT program sessions; a built-in pedometer to track your step progress; weekly training manuals with healthy eating and physical activity tips and resources; and competitions, which compare your teams’ step counts to other Hockey FIT teams throughout Canada. The app includes social networking to connect with your Hockey FIT teammates; post progress stories; and chat privately with your coach or other teammates. The app includes weekly training manuals with healthy eating and physical activity tips and resources.
Also the Hockey Fit app supports the integration with Apple Health app as additional option for better count steps calculation
