I signed up, linked my bank, initiated a deposit, and it said “pending deposit” before my first investment was event deposited I got charged $5 for my membership. 2 weeks and an awful email chain with support I never got me money deposited. Canceled my account but lost $5.
As an investor/shareholder of Beanstox, I really enjoy using it as a way to help me save for retirement. I downloaded the app, and made a min deposit of $500 and then immediately had a change of heart. I wanted to min fees and even though this service is only $5 a month I thought, I could find something that’s free and so why not save $60 a year.
I cancelled minutes later and reached out to customer service for a refund. They were happy to refund my deposit of course but so far it’s been 17 days and it’s expected to take another 3-5 before I get my deposit back. So it will take about 21 days to get a refund. Are you serious? Sorry, but that is ridiculous. And, get this, they also didn’t want to refund the monthly fee even tho I never started the service.
Its only a $5 fee but it’s the principle of the matter. Other than that, the actual app may be great. I would’t know.
looking forward to finding a company to manage my investments who cares about its customer and doesn’t make them feel like an afterthought at best and a nuisance at the least.
Got the app in March 2019 - it’s easy to set up and I barely miss the regular withdrawals from my checking account.
I wrote to make some changes few months ago and they never answer with a solution,
Believe the platform have helpful general content but I my opinion is not friendly enough.
I never write reviews! However, I was so disappointed with this app, I had to write something with the hope to save others from wasting their time and money. This app is a great concept! Initially, i invested $200 a week to get the feel of the app. When I reached $3,000, I wanted to see how simple it would be to gain access to my funds. It took over a month with multiple issues and poor communication. My account was frozen for no apparent reason. Even when I cancel the service another withdrawal was made. You will never talk to anyone, just multiple emails. I’m glad I didn’t invest what I had planned to. I have never been so disgusted with service. I’m disappointed and that’s very difficult to make happen because I try to see the best in everything.
I recently downloaded it after being recommended it from a podcast , It seemed legit so I deposited 2k into this App . . And then I read the reviews , instantly regretted it . So I looked for all ways to pull the money out & sure enough after 3 days, the money deposited at midnight & so I wasn’t awake for the transaction to attempt to prevent it .
Money is out of my bank account BUT now my account is frozen. Asking me to email their support team via email .

I have used this service for close to 30 weeks now and I thought everything was going fine until I needed to actually withdraw my money. It is now the start of the second week (after the 3-5 business day) without resolution or indication to where any of the funds are located. I have wrote several emails to the support staff and I have not heard back from the company in 3 days. Stay away from beanstox. I liked the idea of Mr. Wonderful but this is anything but that.
Absolute garbage, gave them 4 months and I came out UNDER what I put in! To quote Kevin, aka “ Mr Wonderful” 🙄 How do I make moneyyyyyyy?! Had I put my 10k into BTC 4 months ago instead, I’d be up 40% lol what a hyped up garbage service and waste off my time & money. No value service.
Once the TOS link is clicked, the app crashes, and will not start where you left off. It won’t even allow me to log into the app. Because, my info has already been put in, but too new to be able to login. Please, fix this.
