  • Looked so promising

I was so excited to hear about this app given the story behind it and the potential to make such a big difference. However, the app has a lot of flaws - a large one being that there are two payment methods as options on the screen to donate for each cause and one of them is never actually accepted (Apple Pay). I’ve reached out through their website to try to ask if this and other specific glitches will be fixed, but never heard back. So disappointing since this is something I was hoping my whole company could get behind.

  • Great Causes, Prompt Support, Terrible UI

I have given plenty of needs and think this is the premier idea for a direct relief application in the modern era. Anytime there is an issue with functionality, the team responds promptly. That being said it lacks significantly in user experience. Frequently the application freezes, force quotes, or simply cannot execute when meeting a need. It has the option for Apple Pay, but when selecting it says that the functionality is not supported. It took months for team needs to accurately reflect nets met and monetary value contributed, but I cannot reliably confirm it updates as when I can contribute to a team, it does not appear to update in real time. Once these bugs are resolved it could be transformative in direct relief and I can imagine it transforming from just direct relief to subscription based giving for ongoing empowerment and sustaining contributions to great causes.

  • Make the “Optional” donation button darker

I love this app and love helping out. I’m also glad that I can now donate to Purposity to help them continue. What I don’t like is how the “optional” donation button is already set at 15% and is a very slight shade different from the other options, so you can barely tell what’s selected. It almost seems like it was designed that way, which is unfortunate coming from a charity organization. These tactics have no place for a charity organization. Hopefully, this was done unintentionally.

  • Scam?

I received an email from support. Apparently they had a bug and apologized for the problem and refunded my account and fixed the issue. I appreciate their response and owning up to the problem.

I donated and set up for meet 10 needs. So I donated to my first “story” money taken from my bank. I log in a few days later and the app says you haven’t met anyone’s needs yet please help. It keeps asking for money!!!!

  • Great idea, poor execution

App crashes when I try to view messages. Can’t view needs of local organizations. The organization I was following yesterday no longer appears in my list. This app needs help.
  • Love the purpose of this organization. Apps crashing

I’ve been using this app for a year and it’s been fantastic.

Recently after updating the App crashes at start up. It’s totally unusable for me at the moment. Deleted and re-downloaded, still no luck. IPhoneX running latest IOS
  • Love this!

The app bad mission are great! I love the idea of community and individuals coming together to make a real needed difference. The only reason this isn’t five stars is the buggy app. The organizations I follow don’t show up so it makes it hard at times to discover needs. Otherwise fantastic work.
  • Doesn’t work

Couldn’t connect to my network but my network was perfectly fine and working for all other apps. Also tried it on LTE didn’t work. Please fix really want to use this app it’s a great idea if it worked
  • Help

I am SO HAPPY to find this. I’ve been wanting something like this for some time now.

It won’t let me sign up- letting me there is a network issue. How can I resolve that?
