Fun but impossible
The game is great and I had an amazing time in the beginning but as I leveled up the regular zombies became ways stronger than my weapons and I couldn’t grind to get better guns. So I constantly died and eventually made no progress at all. I’m sure there is a way to bypass this without spending money but I don’t have the patience for it.Show lessWolfBoy265

The game is one of the best mobile games I’ve played—maybe ever. With that, the issue keeping me from giving 5 stars is with general mission Bioresearch Theta. With two remaining teleport anchors I’m unable to get past the door to reach them, and before that I had to fire my beam at the zombies through the door before it allowed me to open. Somehow, that also destroyed the 2nd anchor. Is there a site I can go to? Is this an unfixable glitch? Any help would be appreciated.Show lessBonedaddy64

Can’t do anything!
I was really liking the game at first, but then on mission 6 I kept dying, because I needed to upgrade, but I couldn’t upgrade because I didn’t have enough money, but I can’t get money until I finish the mission and I can’t finish the mission until I upgrade. I tried to go back to previous missions to get money but for some reason i kept dying even on mission one even thought I didn’t die when I first did the missions and even more I was slightly upgraded now. It’s a paradox, I can’t do anything now expect die! So I really starting to get ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!Show lessXavierSuperXC

I’d like it more if weapons were a little cheaper, or if money was easier to get. Currently it would take about 66 missions to get enough money for a better weapon, considering that each mission gives around $363. Also, the controls mention a crouch button, but I can't get it to work. Other than that, great game. Graphics are good, aiming is exquisitely smooth, and the storyline is good.Show less5ome guy3
Excellent game, worth playing
The graphics are superb, the gameplay is logical and there’s plenty of upgrades while remaining challenging and fun.
If you liked SYSTEM SHOCK 2 this is a game you will enjoy a lot.
Only annoyance I’ve found is that the main character likes fiddling with the clip, but not reloading it (spurious reload idle animation) which then leaves you defenseless for a few seconds, which in this game can be pretty deadly.Show lessMatrix29bear

I’ve been waiting a long time to review this game! Lol 😝 ive played the original iOS release of dead effect 2 since it was on the appstore last time, even after someone removed it i kept playing it cause its THE BEST GAME on iOS. Period. No votes, no buts no ifs no maybes and no bull. T-H-E B-E-S-T!!! 👍👍 (PS: appstore’s best games of 2019 was rigged, THIS should’ve made the list if it was truly legit😠)
First of all, the gameplay is superb. I haven’t enjoyed a first person shooter this much since playstation 2 lol. This new and improved release is even better, the weapon swap speeds are finally tolerable, the difficulty scaling is easier to keep ahead of (especially with the side mission dmg bonuses, DO THEM PPL Lol) and ive noticed some weapon prices were adjusted. THANK YOU lol 😆 i can finally handle hell mode on certain maps 😋
Second of all, the story. Its a bit like mass effect, with a few twists and a solid grounding in typical zombie-horror stuff ive come to expect and LOVE over the decades. Bieliks cyber ninja’s always manage to startle me on nightmare mode lol. Those things are really sneaky 😈 The written/typed english still needs to be ironed out in many places though lol. Some of it was fixed, others got messed up even worse 😏 also some oversights when the voice acting was redone. But i hardly care, though I’d be happy to help with that if ya want 🤘Also, the voice acting has been almost completely redone and is MUCH more convincing, especially Jane’s lol. She sounded hungover and stoned before lol 😂 Now her voice-overs are alot better 👍
Next is graphics at the expense of ‘etc.’ It doesnt burn your hands off while playing, the battery doesnt drain to 0 in less than hour AND the game is still flawlessly smooth and beautiful even on an ipad mini 2! This in particular will keep me following you devs and playing your games forever 😎 THANK YOU 🙏 gotta love when the Unity Engine is used properly 😍 (HINT HINT NEXON! 🤬) its about time someone put a great game for many devices on the iOS 😋 so much crashing junk or hand-nuking games out there, its ridiculous 😪 i have NEVER seen dead effect 2 crash. NOT ONCE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ its nice to have at least one game to keep lol (december 2019, more months later, still no crashes).
Lastly, the game mechanics. Reminds me quite a bit of the old Metroid Prime gamecube game. I dont know how they did it but they balance rpg, map roaming and fps gameplay perfectly! 😄🤯
My only wish is co-op! 😭 ofc stupid steam version gets it 😢I’ll try to wait as patiently as i can for it though lol.
