This app allows me to reach my international audience. Some are challenged by internet access costing much money. It’s easier with phones. All of my content with this app is more accessible for them. It’s easy to use and provides excellent video.Caroljane Person
What is wrong with this app?
Okay, seriously, a proper complaint I have here. The app itself, it works fine, it functions fine, it records the video I want and presents it with clear audio and video, whichever option I choose.
BUT, and this is a massive but, WHY DOES THIS APP KEEP STORING THE VIDEOS DATA?
I record a video, I upload it to a server (Google Drive), delete it completely from my iPad (Recently Deleted and in the App), and yet, for some reason, Settings displays the app takes up an extra say 600 MB of storage for some reason. And then that builds, lapping, over and over until you delete the app completely again.
This is a huge issue for me because I don’t have that much storage space left. And yes I could fix that (I’d be deleting so much data I haven’t backed up yet), but instead, I offload up some of it (3gb worth), then after 10 minutes worth of use from it, it immediately starts saying I’m out of storage, with videos that shouldn’t even be that large. It is constantly building data on top of data that doesn’t even exist and I’m so confused as to how an app even does this.
Okay app- but having to delete it every single time I record something then delete that recording is so incredibly frustrating and tedious.

I like it but it takes forever to upload I have tried 3 times and it keeps on saying there’s an error

Good app
Its a great app, I just wish the microphone thing would only focus on the music on my device and not on any noise made outside or anything. Its an overall good app.Clo'Clo.
Poor customer service
I have used SOM for years, been mostly happy with it. Especially like the video editor. Their customer service is extremely lacking in my opinion. Your only option for help is to open a ticket thought their website - no phone number or chat option. In my experience they have been slow at best getting back to me, often ignoring me. Currently, I have a ticket that has been open for 40+ days and have yet to see any resolution.Show lessCalclady46

This recorder is so good except when I wanted to stop my screen recording there was no red bare at the top of my screen and no other way I could stop it please fix thisminnie suzzy

I like it and all but it’s the option you can’t save the video after you record it plus you can’t adjust th volume like low the original sound and higher the added sound like that it’s good but thatlemwkeyzxgames
Used to be great
I’ve used this for recording my classes. Unfortunately the teacher went to Facebook, and this app no longer records sound on Facebook. I’m deleting the app.
*I found a method that worked, turn the mic on and record in a quiet room. It will record all the background noise. But at least it’s something.Show lessDragoncleaner
